it's LBRB's one year anniversary!! Here are some answers to some questions + new edits to said answers: 0. Paul and Casper were my ocs for a demigod roleplay with my friends from a loooong time ago. They're children of Hermes and it doesn't really show here bc i dont know how to make them do speedy things that make it feel forced. Honestly I could've done better in incorporating their backstory as well into this but at the very least the personalities are accurate 1. Yes, I'm Filipino and Paul and Casper are Filipino too. 2. Both of them are bisexual and Casper has a boyfriend in canon already, so please don't ship Paul and Casper together! They're brothers who are just really close to eachother and would definitely be uncomfortable with the thought of it. 3. Casper has his own boyfriend named Jarrel (who belongs to my friend Slushieghost), who has been seen in my other animatic (and possibly even in more animatics in the future) 4. The colors for them are switched bc those are the colors I assigned to them when I first created them (before this animatic), and it suits them better bc Paul is an Edgelord and Casper is a Softboy baby. 5. I'm very bad at explaining how to draw so I probably can't teach you my ways. There are many other sources online to help though! 6. Thank you for all of your love and support!!! Idk if this was intentional but i feel like the character design is genius. Most people would imagine the cold and analytical side of the brain to look nerdy and wimpy, whereas the side full of creativity and emotion would look more showy. But your designs are the exact opposite, and i think thats really cool.

The frontal lobe for example, is at the front of both hemispheres, and is responsible for decision making, personality, ect.

THANK YOU!! So often 2 characters saying they love each other is treated as romantic even if the characters say they see each other as siblings or are actual biological siblings, so it's very refreshing to see someone who is against incest. I love how cha translated Paul's awareness of patterns to him having a cool sense of style; too often there's this attitude of "smart=socially awkward and wears sweaters & glasses", which is irritating since I know at least 1 person (myself) who wears glasses yet is a complete dumbass.

Something I've just noticed, like, conciously having watched this video many, many times over the years is that, despite the descriptions of the characters, Left Brain being cold and analytical and Right Brain being empathetic and social, their colors are the opposite of those descriptors. And I feel like it really brings out the characters more, especially in the end when Left is being more understanding and compassionate and Right trying to "be mature" and do what he thinks will help because of what Right said. It's a really cool story telling standpoint, I love it.
Paul and Casper remind me of my old OC's, Bryan and Jordan. I haven't thought about them in a while now, thank you for bringing back these memories of when sketch wasn't shut down.

THANK YOU!! So often 2 characters saying they love each other is treated as romantic even if the characters say they see each other as siblings or are actual biological siblings, so it's very refreshing to see someone who is against incest.
I love how cha translated Paul's awareness of patterns to him having a cool sense of style; too often there's this attitude of "smart=socially awkward and wears sweaters & glasses", which is irritating since I know at least 1 person (myself) who wears glasses yet is a complete dumbass.

Yes, but blue is also more a sad color, while red could be seen as anger. Left brain was more offensive here, while right brain was defensive. Left brain = red = attack. Right brain = blue = defence.

God, this is really just perfect. I’m sure if Bo saw this he’d think of it as as close to a visual interpretation of the song.
Something I've just noticed, like, conciously having watched this video many, many times over the years is that, despite the descriptions of the characters, Left Brain being cold and analytical and Right Brain being empathetic and social, their colors are the opposite of those descriptors. And I feel like it really brings out the characters more, especially in the end when Left is being more understanding and compassionate and Right trying to "be mature" and do what he thinks will help because of what Right said.
It's a really cool story telling standpoint, I love it.
