I mean, a lot of the times, parents go unpunished for the pain they've inflicted upon their children/abuse
If a kid would rather go to jail, they're probably being abused.

thats what happens when no father in the home. she wants the state to be his daddy.
How much you want to bet he will NEVER steal her car again or anything else for that matter. He knows if he gets caught that his momma is going to let him go to jail instead bailing him out. My oldest son went to jail twice and the first time I mistakenly bailed him out but the second time I let him stay there for 2 weeks. One of the hardest things I ever did was to leave him in jail. I visited him and told him that he needed to make a decision which side of those bars he wanted to be on. That was 10 years ago and he’s a deputy now. It’s important for moms to teach their sons how to be responsible for their choices.
@@carolinecutler9080 kids of single moms are more likely to be criminals. sounds like your family was broken so your kid acted out. too bad you had to use the state as the father instead of keeping your family together

I’m actually GLAD she pressed charges. Like I’m sorry, I’m not really into most of that “old school parenting” bc I thinks it’s all abusive horseshit, but that kid stealing a car from his own mother??? Adam V. I’ve been driving since I was 13 years old, but that’s because I look old and my parents knew that I know how to drive and to not get pulled over, you’d be surprised how many people are driving on the road and don’t have a license, some of them are better drivers than people without licenses, but to put it short, it’s not a big deal to drive without a license as long as you know how to drive, how to be safe, and if underage with parents approval

Pressing Charges will probably save him from a future life of crime. The mom is trying to be proactive by not letting her son off the hook. Most likely he'll be charged with a misdemeanor that can be expunged or erased when he turns 18! Great job mom!!!!
