Generally your first two windows servers will have static IP addresses for DNS replication and failover. If your windows server IP changes, then you need to go onto every single client out there and change the DNS settings. This seems like a hassle. Never implement this in a professional environment.

Very true David, I would never run a server with dynamic IPs. This particular video was for a lab setup for a particular lab series. Checkout the description if you're interested :)

What type of network adapter did you use in the virtual machine settings?

Joe I always go with the default which is automatically installed during the OS install.

Jonathan, If your Active Directory domain is running DNS (which is should be) you can create AD objects for each computer with a preset name. I believe you base each new computer object on the mac address of the new system. when you do a multicast image to a group of computers, you should be able to have them join the domain once they have booted up from the OS installation. It's been a while since I've done this, so things might be a little different these days. Microsoft also used to have a script utility to create an answer file for the installation process. I'm not sure if they do or not anymore.
