    I think it is pretty amazing that you answer so many questions and provide more support, especially to newbies.
    I have been building and rebuilding computers for twenty+ years and I have a very weird problem with this motherboard, Team group 32gb ram and a 7800x3d that I got in a bundle deal from Canada Computers. (similar to your Micro center deal?)
    Anyway, the board is perfect, OC is amazing, booted up first try, everything a dream. Except, for the life of me, I cannot update the bios! I have spent hours researching and using different USB 2.0 drives, used the red USB slot pushing the little button, tried from the bios, tried different bios releases.
    No update method works. Never had this problem before! Any ideas?

      Oh my, no need to reply!
      All of that troubleshooting missed such a simple solution: Make sure to plug your USB stick into the bios slot! Duh...
      Np now. On the latest bios and the only thing I can say is my sixty eight year old eyes just didn't see properly in my dimmly lit basement.
      I was all set to return the bundle too.

      What I like to do is put in the cpu memory, cooler and then connect power and try a boot, With the AM5 CPU they do have an integrated gpu on them so you should get into the BIOS. if you get there then test the GPU. After that put it in the case. I have learned the hard way you test then put it in the case.

    Thanks for sharing this build! Got this deal from Microcenter a few days ago and running smoothly. Strange that the pump header is at the bottom of the board. Did you end up connecting your radiator to the CPU fan header and the radiator mounted fans to the CPU_OPT header? Also, any sense of what the CPU_LED header is for?

    Here’s my issue:
    I have no idea what to do at this point.
    I have a Lian Li ALC 360 Coolant System and a Gigabyte B650 X AX V2 Motherboard (note: the Lian Li pump cable only has a 3 pin socket that still will fit on the 4 pin motherboard header. I have the pump plugged into the system pump 4 pin on the motherboard. I have the other cable of the two plugged into the CPU Fan Header on the mother Board. Nothing is plugged into the CPU_Opt. The lights on the pump come on, but the fans do not move nor does it recognize/detect the CPU Fan or the Pump in the BIOS. Both says N/A. It does however stay at about 37 degrees. No recognition of coolant fans at all. My only issue with this new build.

      No I haven’t tried to plug into the CPU_Opt yet.
      I was nervous to, I didn’t want to hurt anything. I haven’t built in a while.
      Which cable would you recommend plugging into the CPU_Opt?
      The main or the one that is supposed to be the pump?
      The Fans haven’t spent at all?
      Again the Pump stays lit.
      All fans in the case work except the AIO.
      As far as the Lian Li ALC 360, I’m contemplating taking it back bc it is hard to find anything on it.
      The manual is very cheesy.

    Hi there , can you tell me a mothernboard that comes without issues? I wanna buy also amd 7800x3d and combine it with 4070 ti super but every motherboard have issues as i see, Msi are good but have drivers and bios issues, Gigabyte B650 you propose i have seen many people saying in your video comments that their mobo is faulty and they need to replace it.... Can you propose an AM5 motherboard close to 200-300€ that can work properly?
    Thanks in advance

      In all my years building all manufactures in every price range I have had an rma. I have not tested enough boards to get a good read on what ones have issues. My recommendations is to pick one I a price range with features you want. I would also make sure the return policy is reasonable.

      it depends on the components u are using. My psu doesnt have the 4 pin concector and it works with a ryzen 7600, RTX 2060 super but the LEDs of the pc case shut down after it start running. So the answer is yes, but u can have some problems

    HI, I have the same build with Seasonic Focus Plus 750W Gold 80 Plus semi mod psu but when I plug in the 4 pin cpu plug along with the 8 pin my computer does not turn on , but when i plug it in just the 8 pin the computer turns on and runs ok. Some people told me without the additional 4 pins I am under utilizing my cpu. What should I do?

    • @GrayaOverload
      @GrayaOverload  2 месяца назад +1

      Off the PSU is it two 8-pin (4+4)? If so, I would swap them to see if the PSU has issues or mobo. On a 7800x3d if you were only to have an 8-pin I don't think you would be under-utilizing the CPU it is 120wTDP not the 170W TDP on the chips higher in the stack. If I were you I would want to know if the motherboard or PSU had the issues.

    • @manutap
      @manutap 2 месяца назад

      @GrayaOverload I tested it with a new psu
      And it was the psu problem. I just want to know if I should change the psu or keep it. A lot of people are saying it won't make a big difference

    • @GrayaOverload
      @GrayaOverload  2 месяца назад +1

      @@manutap it won't make a big difference but if you every upgrade to a 16 core and push it then it could. I would still rma the psu because of the knowledge of it having a problem. I have the exact same combo build from microcenter, it came with bios F3 and i kept getting boot up loop that said "auto reparing" and it just kept repeating over and over and never goes into windows. I powered it off and swapped rams around and it boots up fine. Anyone else have this issue? I updated bios to F5 and seems stable for longer but few days in it happened again. I then suspected the mobo , cpu or ram was bad, i took no chances and returned the whole thing and re-purchased the combo again and hoped for the best. Installed everything and it booted up perfectly with the same windows install that i already had. I didn't even update bios and this thing has been running great. I suggest people test out their equipment extensively before the 15 day return policy expires and return if any issues. Good luck people! the combo is still a steal at micro center.

    Just finished building almost the same computer (cpu cooler and power supply are different) and one of your vids about the motherboard helped me out.
    I wasn’t a big fan of how the usb 3 plugs into the motherboard. How did you deal with the back panel of the tower pushing the plug forward? It puts unwanted forward tension on the socket and was stressing me out.

    • @GrayaOverload
      @GrayaOverload  6 месяцев назад +1

      I agree on the USB 3 plug. I hope I understand the question right it is about the USB 3 plug? I tried to get it to a position that I was happy with and plugged it in. Since this was an upgrade for my friend the cable had already been plugged in giving me a big more freedom.

    • @ericg9135
      @ericg9135 6 месяцев назад

      @@GrayaOverload yeah it’s where the usb3 plugs into the motherboard. The angular design of the interior of the tower doesn’t allow me to just slide it in from the opening next to it without folding the cable back over itself. Had to feed from the bottom opening and do some twisting to make it work and not stand out. Thankfully the gpu covers it up so it’s out of sight.
      My first ever pc build so I’m excited but nervous about every connection.
