    depends on your goals. strength would require a lot of rest. Muscle endurance less rest and hypertrophy in between 1 and 2 minutes rest.

    I have this very same machine. The benchpress is very deceptive !! Putting 6 45lbs plates on (315) this machine is pretty light, will boost your ego, and will get you killed trying to lift the same amount with free weights if you're not used to lifting that much weight. I do all of my heavy benching with free weights and end my chest workouts with the PT. it's good for isolation, a really good pump, but not that great for stabilizer growth.

    when i get 12 reps foer the first set to failyer, the 2nd set i get like 8 then 6, but im having plenty of rest, its like 2 to 3 mins rest i have, and then people say 1 to 2 mins rest, but if i do that il get like 12 then 6 then 4 reps, what should i do?

    you should lower the weight and try hitting 12 reps on each set. 4 reps is fk up AND 3 min is way too long. LOL. But as the twins would say, it's just advice, do whatever the fuck you wanna do! LOL.
