The Sky Islands them from Legend of Zelda, Tears of the Kingdom was immediately striking! It's so peaceful, aimless, contemplative and free, yet also precise and logical in its own way. Perfect for an air element theme! I was immediately inspired when I heard it. I wanted to capture and, perhaps also elaborate on that relaxing, heavenly feeling. This arrangement is called "Emanations from the Garden". I imagined that all of the tiny floating islands in TotK were once part of a vast, ancient kingdom in a golden age predating Hyrule. Or perhaps that the floating world is an echo of a realm even more powerful and pure.

I love when you incorporate nature sounds into your works! It feels like the wind is the primary subject of this work, and you only use instruments and vocals to accentuate it. For me, being anywhere outside when the wind is the only sound and motion brings me a feeling of solice. It can foster contemplation, nostalgia; or I can just bask in the steady breathing of the Earth and feel at ease.
What a beautiful, poetic thing to say. Yeah, the wind really seems to have a healing property!
When I saw Sonia in the game I thought of you because of the nature aesthetic with the leaves in her hair. The basket in her hand also has Celtic vibes.
Well, that's very flattering. ^_^
It's been WAY too long since I listened to your music! I think a=the first arrangement of yours that I heard was the Tal Tal Heights remix back in 2016. It blows my mind that people can maintain this kind of consistency for so long!
I'm really glad you're still here after all these years. ^_^ Thanks!
Beautiful, tranquil, mysterious. ❤ I always feel these things whenever I hear your music. You'd make a perfect composer for a Zelda game! 🎵
Thank you very much, for all that! :')
Wonderful work as always, Rebecca! This is so peaceful
Thanks again! I'm glad you enjoyed it. ^^
A beautiful relaxing ambiant cover like you know well how to do them :)
Thanks so much! I hope you feel very relaxed indeed!
Having played the game since its release (not quite finished), Tears doubles down on the freedom players had in Breath; it has even less limitations, a notion which you capture with this arrangement.
The Sky Islands of the Zonai echo to an age that Hyrule was built upon, being merely attached to a greater, divine kingdom. It would be fascinating to see, by the end, Hyrule returning to its Zonaic roots, as the series as a whole has returned to its own.
I know what you mean! I keep thinking that I feel even more free in the sky in TotK than I did in SS!
Pretty cool you've already got a song up and the game's only been out a week! Great stuff! I like the background to this track too. Great Sky Island is in this relaxing late summer/early fall climate with all the golden leaves and everything has this otherworldy "harvest season glow" to it.
"Harvest season glow"!! Yes!! Thank you for finding the words I was looking for. That's exactly how it feels! Yeah, the song was so inspiring that I had to do it very suddenly. ^^
@@RebeccaETripp Glad I could encapsulate a feeling in words. Have fun with the game! I'm sure we'll talk about it later and have more songs or content to discuss :)
So lovely- as always!! Your renditions are always so full of atmosphere and warmth.
Also, I hope you're enjoying the game!
Thank you very much! I hope it uplifted you. Yes, so far I'm enjoying the game. I haven't seen very much yet, though!
@@RebeccaETripp it certainly was uplifting! It was a good start to a productive day! I'm glad you're enjoying the game at your own pace. Happy Sunday!
Oh wow! You make it feel like a real place! I can feel the warmth of the sun up on this island and the mysterious things that loom in the distance. I’m using this for a morning meditation it’s beautiful 💚
I hope it served well! ^_^ Thanks!
How do you enjoy Tears of the Kingdom so far Rebecca? '.'
So far so good! There have been several moments that made me jump with surprise and delight!
TotK full medley when 🙂 JK this is great 😊
I would love to see the process on how you make these. So amazing.
Interestingly, I briefly considered recording myself working on this. Maybe you were picking up on that! ^_^ Thanks!
So close to the game and yet so individual. Perfect candidate for enabling the "infinite loop" repeat feature provided by RUclips!
In fact, I was hoping you'd keep an eye on TotK already...well...wish granted. 🙂
Are you planning anything from TotK?
@@RebeccaETripp Nothing in particular yet, but fiddling around with the shrine mantra/prayer fragments as a source theme sounded pretty promising and convincing on the organ. Luckily, I'm not in a hurry... 😀
Love to see more great songs from you on yet another great Zelda game!
Hey, thanks!
álainn agus Maith thú!
Beautiful and well done!
Thank you, friend! :D

Your welcome
This game have a lot of things to do. I get sidetracked so much. I like the atmosphere of those solitary floating islands. Excellent version of yours giving it a more sacred feel.
Thank you very much. The islands are, indeed, a high point! The game's exploration falls somewhere between BotW, SS, MC and WW.
Man did they do a great job on TOTK. And theres good music now! The shrine themes are perfect, the castle theme is perfect, im having a hard time finding something about the game i dont like. If any of you are wondering if you should get the game based off of the mediocrity of BOTW (i still loved the game, but it was sorely lacking in depth) ... buy TOTK. Im telling you its night and day. It makes BOTW look like a beta version of TOTK.
Exactly depth was the thing that surely lacked in BOTW I agree.
Oh how I wish I could listen to this, but I haven't played the game yet and I don't want to hear any of the music before I do. 😢 I'm sure it's beautiful!
Well, luckily, this one plays very early on! ^_^
This is great chill music.
This was lovely and calming to listen to while I was busy talking with a friend 😊
^_^
Love the sound design! You did a great job with this :)
Thanks again. Nice as always to see you here! ^^
always happy to hear another relaxing mystical remix from you! they always put me in a good mood! the ensemble of instruments and notes is quite lovely and I thank you for making it!
Once again, I'm happy that you're still listening. Thanks!
@@RebeccaETripp as long as I am able to I will be listening!
This game's tutorial really managed to bring back the breath of fresh air the previous game brought didn't it?

I am very into Rauru's design
Please cover breath of fire 4
I did do one theme from that game already. :) Check out my channel. BoF4 is actually one of my favourite soundtracks of all time! I'm not sure why I've barely covered it!
