I think this change boils down to 1 thing....inducing the pent up demand from people who had been waiting due to consistent price drops. I think Tesla believes there are a lot of people waiting to buy because they want to see prices settle and think another cut could always be right around the corner. This SMALL increase keeps the pricing where Tesla thinks they need to be to support demand while putting a little fear back into the people who thought that more cuts could have been on the horizon. It's all psychological to get them to finally pull the trigger instead of waiting for more cuts.
They’re doing it to signal to potential buyers that the bottom is in by raising it only $250. You create a little bit of panic so as not to miss the bottom and pull in buyers that was on the fence waiting for lower prices.
@@mdle3467 Congrats! which model? Personally I think MY-P is great value atm. Tesla is approaching 15% GP margin, prices can go lower but not much lower. People that got burned were those that bought in 2022 at elevated prices w no access to fed tax credit.

I was just in Vancouver and the sheer number of Teslas there is astounding! We had to pause our Punch-la game because I was developing bruises. It seems to me that Tesla is taking the next step in pricing technology. We used to have dealers with markups that were negotiated -> manufacture “pure” pricing with dealer markups -> Tesla direct sales -> Market “live” pricing. How they gonna raise prices on the M3P 😭, dont think they can raise anymore since if it goes past 55k it wont qualify for the 7500? What are your thoughts on this?
My guess is that this is a way for Tesla to get the fence-sitters to place their orders, fearing another (larger) price hike. If people feel as though the prices have bottomed out, at least for a while, it can spur sales. We see this with other commodity-priced items as well.
Even though it’s not a huge deal, I’m so glad I place my MY order just days before this change. It’s like the stock market; felt like we hit the bottom and not price is going back up
Why this $250 increase? The order fee is $250. Those who cancelled their order in the past few months due to price drops can, if they request it, apply that fee to a new order. This increase negates that while not refusing to do it.

Dynamic pricing works great for the business, and for existing customers waiting. It doesn’t feel so good for existing owners though
@@BeardedTeslaGuy only if you think you car is a pile of Bitcoin. If our generation should have learned anything, it's that there is no safe investment (unless your a politician). Company evaluations change on a whim, house pricing is all over the place, and expecting a car to be an investment is crazy.
Sounds like you need to stay online 24/7 to be ready for every price change. Lol.
For real
Tesla signaling price cuts are over and anyone waiting for lower may be triggered to buy now. And every change is free marketing.
Suppose so
🤔WHY WOULDN’T WE BE HAPPY TO SEE YOU 🤔
Haha 😎
Apart from the United States, Tesla's are still to expensive and over priced in most other countries. So they only sell to niche market $$
Even here they are too expensive. That said, they are at or under the average new car price
Republicans in Texas are have passed a law to charge ev owners $200 to register their car.
I saw that. So backwards
It’s their fourth not there ninth
Um…
AI is doing the pricing
Who is AL?
Probably more accurate than most realize
I'm stuck. Big loss on my Model Y. Elon Trump really cost me a lot of money.

#Teslaownerproblem's
Hers that haha
Tesla is making themselves look like total idiots! I was all ready to buy a Plaid but then they raised the price, it seems like they don't know what the hell they're doing!
This is pretty standard stuff at Tesla
Oof!
Oof indeed
Oh look a BTG video, oh it's him just saying tesla changed the price again. It's basically the only video you put out now. Unsubscribing.
Cya
Wouldn't want to be ya.
Sorry to see ya go I guess. I’ve only had a pricing video in leu of my weekly Friday video like 3 times in the last 24 months. These are in addition to my normal content. Guess you can’t please em all
This is not Breaking its a 250$ increase in price 😂
