Nice and fair hull you built ! interesting that you glued the halves together at once, the original idea with the 2 sided construction was that it would be easier to build a straight hull when the hull could be placed side down on the building table. I haven't looked at the instructions of the renown. but several other 600 series have this type of construction.. Edit: Love Love love the brass pinning method, very clean and strong!
You are right, it is intended to be built in two halves, but I did the same - I had decided to use it as a RC-model, so had to make a few changes to it.
I am glad you like it. I am not use to build the Hull as described in the instructions but you are right they should be assembled face down on a included MDF Board . Thank you for watching
If you have made this Model RC , would you be so kind and contact me via Email or Facebook ? Because I had a question regarding the RC Components and especially about the Rudder. Thank you
Very nice. You have to be a real glutton for punishment using that body filler again😄😄. For what it's worth, there are very inexpensive plastic applicators that are used to put that material on smoothly and can be easily cut to size as needed. Any body shop supply store, even on Davao, will have them at less then a USD each.
Yes I know my friend , I like the pain to do things in a different way LOL . I have those plastic applicators but I forgot where I've put them LOL . Tnx for watching my Friend
Great video regards Nigel 😊
Glad you enjoyed it
