Thank You for this Tribute song here, Very Well Done, I think that they Heard this in Rock & Roll Heaven, Skynyrd Music Will never die, as long as people can Hear, !! Cousin Figel
I don’t know when this was recorded, but Hell the F YEAH! Pop Pop totally crushed it! I only hope I can do something like that with such an iconic song some day.! Freaking killed it!
I'm so glad to see so much love for Gary in these last few days. I actually am not even a "youtuber" either but I started recording tons of his solos for my channel just as a tribute to him. One of my all time favorites for sure! RIP Gary!
@@LMDAVE29 Well there you go, I knew it was a Marshall based sound. So many guitarists are using software these days. Those amps are amazing nearly got one but ended up with a Roland blues cube stage, light great cleans , amazing overdrive , reliable. But doesnt growl like that sound you have! Haha. Cheers
You know all the notes, just work on the timing and feel cause your way off sometimes, but the overall notes are correct. Otherwise I really like the arrangement.
Good job, I'm a Skynyrd Crash survivor.
That's my favorite Skynyrd song.
Steve Gaines is by far my favorite guitarist, PERIOD
Thank you, keep on Rocking!!! I'm 57 and my grand kids are stunned when they see I can play guitar !!! Lol

I do believe most of the guitar improv on that song was done by Gaines. He used a Strat.
Yeah, I did it all with a Les Paul one take. Didn't want to switch guitars to my fender.
Song written by Allen Collins. (And RVZ).
He also used a Strat Craig Reed built from parts. Schecter drop in 3 3way switches he used that om I Know A Little
Listen to some Crawdad
