There are no words to describe how good this is. This is, by light years, the absolute best and most professional cover of anything I’ve ever heard. Ever. You strike The perfect balance between the replication of the original with your own subtle interpretations , to the untrained ear most would think they are listening to the original band.

So that pinch harmonic on the intro, that you bend and squeal...you bump it a little with the thumb on your playing hand? To increase squeal sound?

I turned 15 y/o on Oct 17 1977 the same day Street Survivors was released. Three days later our world changed. I have heard this song a million times. I have never heard someone other than the original band members play and sound this good. You are an amazing musician. RVZ and the boys would be impressed for sure.

There are so many great guitar players and videos on RUclips that’s is hard to do something that stands out, but that was amazing, dude. The guitar and bass playing, all the nuances of each guy, the different guitars, the editing, the vocals, the production of the whole thing. I could go on and on. Just a truly fantastic job.

Bought the double platinum album in 1978 - I was 15 , had recently emigrated to the States from Colombia South America !- lit a doobie - turned down the lights - no one was home and for some reason I gave this song a listening before the other ones... was just starting to catch a buzz closed my eyes and walahh !! this song takes off and I take off 😜 .. kept playing it over and over loving every note ,chord ,drum hit, ,bass line etc !! ignoring the other songs ..thinking that the music gods got together and gave this band a gift .. I will never get tired of this song..I fucking love it !! This cover is amazing !! You sir did a fantastic job !!

Well done, what a great tribute to the best band of the 70's, I got the privilege of seeing one of their last shows with Billy Powell, and I was able to meet one of my all-time idols in Gary Rossington. Gone, never forgotten and when great musicians like yourself keep doing this, the younger generations will know who they are too.

Damn Ryan…your a beast! Absolutely my favorite go-to channel for authentic Skynyrd. Maybe someday you can run through some of your amps, and settings. No doubt the tone is in your fingers, but I do think it would make for an interesting session on how you go about sculpting the tone to get that last 10-15 percent of authenticity.
