i'm a fan of the series as well i'd say my favorite is 2, i love chuck's story and combo weapons lol
Remember completing this game like 4x getting multiple endings but not once finding and been able to save brett, tilted me so much at the time.
I love the muted colors in this game. Makes the atmosphere more creepy. I hate that the later games went with super bright colors and made all the psychopaths super cartoony.
They way you stick through things no matter how hard it gets is truly a spectacle to watch another great video Tanner

I remember playing this way back in 07 and being mind blown the amount of stuff you could do in this game I must’ve done about 15 runs on this game. The only achievements I never got was the all the kills, and beating it on 5-7 days modes as back then I didn’t know how to unlock it as we didn’t have internet at this point so I didn’t know a way of finding guides. But overall loved this game! It wasn’t till 2019 I finally replayed this game on the remastered version and boy even tho it’s fun as hell the AI was sooooo bad and annoying in this game 😂 and finally got the 100% achievements as I now knew how to play the 5 and 7 days mode. And I finally knew a tactic to getting the kills with the cars! I loved this and DR2 some of my favourite games to replay again. Disappointed on how the series ended up tho.
55% thru trophies and halfway thru Saint playthrough and oh gawd is it stressful 😂 watching this to keep up my confidence, keep up the excellent videos

This game needs a remake! Never played the infinite mode, but with more mechanics that could actually be quite fun

I'll give you guys a massive tip for doing 7 day survivor on the Series X/S. Quick resume does not conventionally work in infinity mode. However, if you turn off your controller and get the "please reconnect controller" screen during the pause menu quick resume will work. Also, the food court issues from the 360 are not in any variations of the remasters.(I tried on Xbox series X and did not crash and I've heard that playstation is safe as well. If you don't know on Xbox 360 on OG Dead Rising, after day 3 in infinity mode, the game would crash if you entered the food court and if your in the food court and day 3 ends, your game will crash once you leave the food court to go anywhere.)
I got all the achievements for this game 1 time in my entire life years and years ago and then all the years of playing after never did it again! It is no easy accomplishment , congrats lol!

As a top tip for this platinum, using Recommended Playing’s guide is a godsend. Funnily enough I platinumed the game last Friday which was pog. Well done on the 7 Day Survivor one. I used RUclips videos and ps4 rest mode to help me through that

@Techno Mage Ah yes, well good luck with that. Do be warned that the PS4 and Xbox One remasters are more prone to crashes than the originals although thankfully it didn't crash whilst I was doing it. I only ended up putting it in rest mode for 2 nights I think before finishing. Really helpful though tbh because there's no way I'd spend all those hours straight doing it. Definitely follow a guide on it step by step to ensure you get enough food to survive.

the 5 and 7 days survivalist was pure pain and took me a couple of tries until i mastered the phase of my gameplay and my tactics to survive that long! but it was fun once i reached my goal

The bad ai and save issues is what makes this game fun. You truly feel like you acomplished somthing every time you get a group of survivors back to the security room. If i could just save every few minutes the challamge of the game would be ruined.

I’ve played this game hundreds of times, gotten all endings and 100% it on pc and Xbox. The AI may suck but I love this damn game, probably in my top 10 favorite games of all time.

I remember way back Kent was literally impossible. Not because of bug with him specifically but rather His text where he tells you what to do was too small. This game had a bug a long time ago where all Text was way too small on CRT's. Most of the Text was just a guess.
The 7 and 14 day survivor were tough. Mostly because health drains via hunger. You can only stave it off by mags and killing psychopaths or hostile survivors for their drops
