The Art of the Mirage 2000C - CCIP Bombing | DCS World Tutorial Series

Continue your development in air-to-ground combat in the Mirage 2000C by learning about CCIP bombing by HUD target identification. This tutorial covers the Mark 82 Snake Eye bombs, Mark 82 Air Ballute Retarded bombs, the SAMP 250 chute retarded bombs, the BLG-66 Belouga cluster bomb and the BAP-100 anti-runway bomb, all of which are high-drag munitions. Develop an understanding of their parameters, employment.
This tutorial takes place on the Persian Gulf map in DCS World.
Reiver uses the English variant of the Mirage 2000C cockpit, because he is an uneducated barbarian.

For those that may be wondering or gotten confused why CCPI or CCPL is not selectable - per the M-2000C manual page 464 provided by Razbam, the following are the CCPI and CCPL available bombs:
"The bomb delivery mode is forced depending on the bomb type, all high drag bombs
use CCPI while low drag bombs use CCPL:
CCPI:
- SAMP-250 HD
- Mark-82 Snakeye
- Mark-82 Air
- BGL-66 Belouga
- BAP-100
CCPL:
- SAMP-250
- Mark-82
- GBU-12
- GBU-16
- GBU-24
This impossibility to select the bomb delivery mode is due to the Mirage 2000C
weapon employment doctrine in the French Air Force: High drag bombs are meant
to be released at low altitude and high speed while low drag bombs are meant to be
released at medium to high altitude or in low altitude toss."
Also worth noting that you cannot mix the Super-530D with bombs or rockets otherwise the PCA will display an error and the weapons will be unusable. (Magic II missiles are exempt and can be included with air-to-ground loadout)

I find that my drag bombs consistently fall short (like, 20-ish meters) from the bomb reticle. I always have to let the reticle pass the actual target for a bit before squeezing the trigger for the bomb to actually land on the desired target

Hi reiver, upon selection of bombs and arming them, i press my weapon comf FWD switch but my hud symbology doesnt display the CCIP impact marker, instead it displays a diamond. Am i being silly?

Have you equipped the correct type of ordnance? CCIP in the Mirage only applies to high-drag bombs. The diamond is the CCRP target designator reticle used with low-drag bombs.
