Ive had my 4090 for my 1440p gaming PC for a few weeks now and ive been playing Cyberpunk getting 70ish FPS with maximum possible settings and DLSS Quality and thats amazing. So I fired up RDR2 today and was getting a solid 120 maxxed out. This thing is amazing! AC Mirage is an EASY 144hz.
Only 70fps in Cyber? Are you sure? Using DLSS or Frame Generator?
Turn on all the other nvidia stuff. I am getting 200plus on my 4090. On a 1440p 144hz monitor. High refresh rate and ray tracing turned on is a game changer.
@@hellnuker753 he is most likely running with rt overdrive , dlss quality without frame generation to get 70fps at 1440p on the 4090
Can’t wait to get a rtx maybe next month or 2 months I’m get one
How come you're not using Vulkan? I find the game runs way better with it.
Which monitor did you use?
This game has a built in benchmark in the settings.. would habe been a more accurate test. Also if you dint mind may i ask what brand your 4090 is?
Yeah, it would be nice to see benchmark on places with alot of npcs or something
Is that Rivas Statistic Tuner your using to monitor GPU and CPU?
I think he used afterburner
Hey, Im having an issue with my Red Dead that has put me off playing the game. It used to run at 120fps in 4k with DLSS, now its barely hitting 70fps in 1440p. My 4090 runs all other games fine, I think it's a bug in Red Dead and I dont know how to fix it
Did you find a solution?
4K is more GPU based. When you play on 1440p that is where CPU matters more compared to 4K. Perhaps your CPU is a bottleneck.
I'm wondering wtf is going on in my case. Running like very shoddy 40 fps max settings. Rtx 4090 with ryzen 9 7900x
3:40 4K
Is it worth it to upgrade from a ryzen 9 7950X to a ryzen 9 7950X3D?
In fps gain, no. Save the money for a better gpu if that's your issue. Also, you can disable one of the ccd's (ccd-2 I believe) in the bios as that has shown to really help out in games. There are tutorials on RUclips on how to do that. You have a high end cpu. No need to upgrade.
@@MisterWoes I got a 4090, I just want to get rid of traversal stutters but I guess is just bad optimization from game devs
@@AngelGel01 Unreal Engine game?
If @ 4k you should give the ccd tip a try.

Without TAA this game looks horrible, you should try hardware unbox settings.
Not at all. TAA is only a good option if you can't afford the performance cost of MSAA, otherwise yes, TAA is a must for avoiding digital artifacts and flickering. In my opinion, especially in this game, TAA turns everything into a blurry, muddy picture- like everything is made of clay...
It’s always so funny these pc guys who want to flex their PCs are too afraid to check frame rate in areas of the game with tons of NPCs like major cities. It would soo the game into 70-80fps or less. Not far off from what a ps5 version would do on a device “so much more powerful” lol
this dude created an entire scenario in his head, nice set of assumptions there 🤡
do you think I have something to gain by making the GPU's look better than they are?
also how is it flexing when the entire channel is based on showcasing game performance with different pc parts (mostly mid to low range btw)
so instead of creating imaginary wars in your head between consoles and PC's, realise that no one cares, be happy with your purchase and move on
@@Javs_Tech be like digital foundry and show how the game performs in more varied scenarios. I never said you made the gpu look better but obviously if you go into larger cities with 50+ NPCs fps is going to tank.
RDR2 RUNS AT 30FPS AND FAKE 4K CHECKERBOARD, also normal settings@@Entertainment-ev6ob
check your faxx, kid
@@Entertainment-ev6ob
@@Entertainment-ev6ob RDR2 performance is very consistent. framerate only drops like 15% in saint denis versus out in the mountains or plains.
shit bro give Athur some foods lol
he works better on an empty stomach 🤣
