The Milli Vanilli Guitar Hero set with instruments that had no buttons on them was a mistake.

This actually has some nice looking graphics that would make me want to give it a whirl. Had no idea this was a series either.

Does look like a fun platformer, that's for sure. May check that out. As for the question, was a Sailor Moon game on the PC Engine that I tried out on Emulators, not sure if it ever got a release outside of Japan though, which is a shame if it didn't, as it was a great kinda sequel to the first season of Sailor Moon that I really enjoyed. Reason I'm not sure if it got a release outside of Japan is because the one I played was a fan translate version, but was fun none the less, and really captured the characters, plus added an extra lore to the story of The Moon Kingdom and how the Negaverse came into play during it, including how the Generals of the Negaverse use to be Soldiers for The Prince of Earth that was brainwashed. Really good stuff.

A licensed game I really liked was the Back To The Future game from Telltale Games. I think it captured a lot of the tone of the movies whilst providing an orignal story that made it intriguing to longtime fans.

The Ghostbusters game for Wii captured the spirit of the films just right (Even if the gameplay was poor). South Park Fractured But Whole succeeded in similar fashion.

Even though it isn't made for me, I am always happy when a kids' game is just really good. Kids deserve to have great games attached to licenses they love!
As for me, there are a lot I could chose: Rescue Rangers, both the 16-bit Aladdin games, Castle of Illusion... but I'm gonna go for something more modern: Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. Despite the bland name and even blander box art, it is a brilliantly well-made action RPG from the team behind games like Dot Hack and Tail Concerto. It covers the entirety of the classic manga and even expands upon some details that were glossed over, adds connections to newer Dragon Ball media that the original author worked on, and most wild part is the game keeps getting updates! Their even going to release an expansion based on the new Dragon Ball show, Daima, that came out this year!

Glad to see a kid's game that can be a "kid's first game", too simple for the experienced adult but simple yet fun enough to be a kid's first experience. Though I do wonder- 80-HD seems like his double-jump lets him clear a LOT of various platform-puzzles that the game might've intended for another character, but which he can handle because of his imbalanced strengths. Is this the case, or am I off-base?
Also, regarding licenses: I will always rep TMNT, but it's not really a surprise that they have fun games. So BESIDES TMNT, I'd like to recommend the Blade-game for the Game Boy Color. Fairly unknown, and not exactly super-famous, but I think it's a fun game, a very simplistic beat-em-up which still manages to be fun.

80-HD gets that double jump real late in the game, so it's more of a reward than anything. And once they introduce the double jump, they start to change up how the platforming is laid out. By that time it's less about the platforming and more about the puzzle solving, so the double jump doesn't ruin anything.

$40 for this?! And how much is the Rugrats game?

Looks like Rugrats was $25 back when I reviewed it. I liked Dog Man more, but you're definitely paying a lot more for it. I suspect that the Dog Man license costs more to secure right now, what with the books still being popular and the Hollywood movie coming out in January.
