Good vid! Keep doing shows! (as long as you've having fun). Looks like you've got a good wrangle on expectations and how to do a show.
Price boards don't work. Yup, you found that out. They just take up space. I have prices right next to each piece at my table. Even then, people sometimes ask how much it is, lol.
People are very overwhelmed at a show. There's so much to see so I totally get it. I've done the exact same thing.
Just a note: your profit section is called gross earnings. Gross is total money made, profit is money after expenses. Keep going!

Great video! I’ve been doing cons for several years and I’m still learning. I wish I made a video of my first con because I think this will be a great video to look back on. I think one day cons are really nice for people just starting out too because you usually don’t have to pay for hotel and the hours aren’t as obnoxious. Plus the attendees only have one day to spend their money so they might make on the spot purchases!

I never thought of that but you’re totally right-this will be nice to look back at years from now when I hopefully have a few cons under my belt! 😊 and that’s really good advice! I’m definitely gonna try to look into different types of cons and even some art markets for next year! I signed up for a few art markers later this year too!

Yeah, the type of convention can make a huge difference in sales. It might be better to look for more anime-themed cons as opposed to Western comic-themed ones.
