These pitching prospects will probably wind up going under the knife within 2 years. The problem will just get worse until Baseball realizes that the human body is not designed to throw 100mph fastballs and high rotation pitches.

Because AAA is a difficult place to be for everybody and there’s a lot of tension and they’re playing for nothing other than to be upgraded to the next level.

Length out of pitchers is definitely something that needs to be figured out. It wasn’t too long ago complete games were a common thing.
It’s the max effort that gets them; like your car maybe can go 120mph but you can’t drive it that fast everyday. Max effort killing pitchers.
Someone like Maddux that was pitch to contact is not what teams want know. Pitchers throw as many pitches as possible to strike out and there in the 4-5 inning with as many pitchers as Maddux did for the full game

Definitely seems to be a common trend these days. He’s been so good though. Any type of setback or injury would be brutal.

DFA Otto. He is terrible. DFA Taylor; go to a 3-man bench. Taylor doesn't play; McNeil can be the emergency LF/RF. Then you can bring back Diaz and Scott.

There is a max on the amount of pitchers you can carry. So you need to have a four-man bench at least.
You need a 01. Back up catcher 02. Infielder back up 03. Outfielder back and 04. A fast pitch runner for very close games that can steal a base change a game
