I technically already covered this song on my channel but that was 8 years ago so I allowing myself to cover this song again. Overall a pretty simple song so I decided to add some of my own arrangements in Pre-Chorus 2 & Chorus 3. Enjoy!

I just got myself into this band and this song is in the set list. So fine, I decided to watch this video and saw the tapping part. After quite a while practicing, I managed to get decent at it. I was about to call it a day to practice more today when I decided to hear the original. Theres none of that in the original lol 😂
LOL yeah that was my own arrangement. I like to spice up my covers, usually when there is no bass for a part or I change the last chorus/outro. Have fun play this with your band!

Geez this one is tough for me. I just started learning bass a week ago and this thing really is hard I started learning this song yesterday and I can’t quite get the rhythm of it. You make it look too easy with the flow of the hand and stuff. At least it’s something I enjoy and practice everyday. Eventually I’ll understand how this song works

Can you recommend a beginner bass and amp? For an adult lol I have crazy long fingers for a female!
Bass & amp depend on the budget, but I would say a really solid setup would be a Sterling Ray4 with a Fender Combo amp. The Ray4 goes for about $350 but is on sale at Guitarcenter for $250 right now.
I would also recommend looking at basses that your favorite artist play and try to get the affordable version of those basses. Definitely want to play something similar to artists you like and pick a bass that you think looks cool. You won't want to play a bass that you don't like. Hope this helps!
Sick cover bro!! I had the exact same idea to do this mod to my bass with the same pickups and that's how I found you! any chance you can do a hard-rock/metal song with both pickups blended so I can see how it sounds in that type of setting? Bit of a selfish request there, not gonna lie
Thank you! Lol no it's not selfish I am overdue for a cover where I blend both pickups, I've been using only the P for my covers. I was planning on covering Afterlife by A7X next but I'm pushing that back because I'm receiving a new bass tomorrow. Look out for that cover once it's released though!

Yup it's a Fender Special Edition Deluxe PJ Bass modded with a MM pickup! For this cover I'm only using the P pickup
