The second half of Chorus 3 is my own little spin on this bass line, it is definitely not in the recording haha. In Pete's defense playing a bass line like that in a recording is overkill, I only did that because it is a bass cover.

How are you silencing the strings for the beginning rift? It looks like you are using your left hand but I can't seem to touch the strings light enough to not hammer them into a note but hard enough to absorb the sound and silence it
