As mentioned, unfortunately as much as i love Reebok, they are lazy/cost-cutting these days with their tech. No real hexalite anymore and the midsoles on modern Instapump furies are concrete. The boost ones though....now we are talking :) Another banger vid mate, really enjoyable :)

I remember walking by foot locker in the 90s and i seen these for the first time. I thought the should looked cool but the color way was too loud for me. A week ago for some reason, they popped up in my i had to to get them! They just came in the mail today and i love them. They were definitely ahead of their time.
this shoe has always been my favorite silhouette, it is why i started to think about sneakers as design innovations instead of just another accessory you buy to complete your fit. designers like Mr.Smith are the ones that we all should listen to when it comes to innovative sneaker design.

I am so glad that you agree‼️ ever since the Reebok Fury’s came out and I started running in them as a college student I’ve never seen anything more technically advanced than the shoe until recently. Recently Adidas took their Reebok division and put boost in some of those fury silhouettes‼️ The fury silhouettes with the Adidas boost are now the most comfortable and technically innovative advance shoes on the planet‼️ Great video great research go Bulldogs‼️
I'm disappointed to see the mixed and even downright negative feedback on the shoe in the comments section, but, for what it's worth, I knew pretty much nothing about sneakers but couldn't resist ordering the Jurassic Park ones (I'm a huge JP fan). Seems like they're meant more for collecting than wearing, but I fully intend to wear them, since I don't have room in my house to buy stuff just to collect. I've never had an expensive pair of sneakers before (haven't paid more than $30-40 for a pair), so hopefully it's at least a step up from the budget-tier New Balance or Skechers I normally wear. Now that I'm looking into sneakers, I'm appreciating all there is to this hobby-reminds me of the headphone hobbyist world that I've dabbled with on-and-off before finally swearing it off as a waste of money, lol. But at least expensive ($1K and up) headphones are used, lol. Can't imagine buying an expensive pair of sneakers and seldom getting to enjoy wearing them. :/

Way back when I remember having the choice of buying the Reebok Instapump fury or Puma disc cage, I don't regret my choice in Purchasing the Puma's as they are ridiculously comfortable, but I will be getting me a pair of these one day.
Had a pair back in '99/2000, they were super comfortable and the pump system actually worked. However, they burst from an accidental cigarette burn. I was gutted.

I remember Exalite's predecessor in the early 90's. It was called ERS (Energy Return System). It was the same hexagonal pattern in the sole as Nike's visible air bubble became the rage.
I went into this video thinking that the Instapump Furys were ugly (but unique in a way I respect). Honestly, though? After looking at them for 10 minutes, they’re pretty cool. Weird that Amazon is a better place to buy them than Reebok’s own website, though. These videos have been a great resource for me as a new sneakerhead - love your content!
Reebok Instapump Fury was one of the ones that got me into the world of sneakers. I remember seeing the jackie chan version on an old HK magazine. Steven smith should be more widely known. He is very active on social media and has re posted my story on his feed many times. For yourself, great video like always!!!
Go for it. They'res plenty for under 100$ online in decent used or new shape. Go tts for narrow-regular width and half size up if you like wiggle room or have wider feet. Comfort is average, but it's a retro model, not too sure what people expect. The millennium/dmx fury is a lot more comfortable because the dmx system but a bit harder to style because the silhouette/colorways/materials. Think every sneaker enthusiast should give instapumps a go.

Still got my 25th Anniversary OG's on ice though, can't wait to bust them out soon. I've been rocking my Hong Kong Handover V2 retro's from 2005, they still look fresh. They borrow the same color design as the "Hong Kong Handover" OG's.... I love Reebok Pumps!

I've had a few pair's, but if you want one, you're better getting one from the early to mid 2000s because as of 2008 the hexalite isn't real anymore, it's just for show, so they aren't really that comfortable. But yeah, great shoe for sure. It was the biggest selling sneaker of 94 and 95 if I'm not mistaken. 🙏🏻👊
@@NachoAverageFinds yeah, unfortunately the iversons are exactly the same, and the pump shoes, it's all fake hexalite. Reebok changed it after the financial crisis of 2008. Even the pump mechanisms changed to cheap crap that don't work. It's a real shame because I'm a huge fan of Reebok pumps and spent a lot of money over the decades, so I hate being ripped off by them.👍
The best shoe for today's modern military/work aesthetic. I have 4 pair: bounty hunter x packer, kicks lab collab, mita x winichie, and the olympic edition. Get some baker pants and a workshirt you're in business

I had an all white pair of insta pump furys and I thought it was comfortable but I thought the midsole was too hard like it hurts to walk an entire day with these and then these boost insta pump furys dropped and I grabbed them directly and I don't regret it's an awesome pair

As much as I loved my Reebok sneakers like the original blacktops and preseasons let’s not bullshit ourselves that the hexalite had any function at all. When I saw it the first time I convinced myself that it’s reeboks super cushioning system that runs through the whole sole, even though they always only showed us a small little window of the hexalite sticking out, only to be completely horrified when I cut open a old pair of blacktops and found that the hexalite was only a small square, only slightly bigger than the window that showed it, surrounded by midsole foam…. I eventually got over it and still love the older reeboks though.
Got myself a Tom and Jerry collab recently, I know it's far from being a hottest pair but I was just obsessed with getting any Fury's really, and those came about. They are super light (surprise surprise) and super comfortable for walking, my lower back thanks me as well.
It's cool to see the design process behind the shoe and it really is a unique shoe, but I personally just don't really like it. The look of the shoe itself just doesn't look that good to me. The pump technology will always be interesting to me, but I'm not that into this silhouette. Great video as always!
I have a pair of instapump fury, they're definitely more style than comfort in today's standpoint. You can definitely walk all day in them with no problem, but they wont be anything special. I have other shoes with reebok pump technology on them thats way more comfier than the instapump fury, like the premier pump paris. But the way you can put the shoes on and take em off easily due to the laceless design of the pump fury is pretty cool tho.
PS Last month I bought the new Reebok Adidas Fury’s where they combined the ZX silhouette from Adidas with the Reebok fury‼️ Everywhere I go they get compliments‼️ I have six different pairs of furies including a black leather pair with steel spikes that I use when I go to EDM concerts‼️
For some reason the Furys were super popular in Korea a few years ago so seeing the Japanese and Chinese collabs makes me think they had a moment in Asia (but not enough to save the company I suppose)

I own Both of FUTURE Fury collaboration sneakers and i own a E.N.D collaboration Fury pump LOVE 💘 THEM . Definitely a shoe that looks way better on feet.
I loved these when they released. Still love em but I haven't brought myself to buy another pair lol. Instapump boost would probably be my splurge tho new tech into an older shoe is very appealing to me

Reebok hockey used to be one the best brands for hockey gear, they still make it but it's branded as CCM

I have the boost instapump fury. They're super unstable and mad chunky. I bought them as an impulse because I wanted them when I was a kid.

For some reason the Furys were super popular in Korea a few years ago so seeing the Japanese and Chinese collabs makes me think they had a moment in Asia (but not enough to save the company I suppose)
