Thank you for your glimpse and commentary of my "Old Home State". Having been born and raised in NC, college in Cullowhee...my heart aches for all, who have been affected. I do receive some solice knowing that those folks are strong and will rebound robustly. God Speed, WNC.

I hope you read this because this is very important.
There is a gentleman on RUclips (sorry I'm having trouble finding it again) where he shot video going up the mountain to where one of the beginnings of the mudslide started. The video shows that there's a huge chance of another mud slide, coming with good rainfall. Another one that started but then came to a stop but it wouldn't take much for it to start again. You have more resources at your disposal.
Please I beg you to see if you can find it and give it to those who need to know.

The power of fast moving water. The amount of devastation is hard to even see, speak about or think about. Absolute horror

Such a beautiful state I had great runs along the French broad river and little realizing this peaceful river would be turn so many peoples lives upside down and businesses I knew a guy that worked for the tourist center and my best friend said people were moving there in the droves it probably will take a awhile but the townspeople will be stronger because of it
