I can’t actually believe we’re at the end of the game. I do hope that Insomniac Games will announce the DLC before the end of the year. Also, if you’re wondering who the character Cindy Moon is, she’s known by her hero name Silk and she got her powers the same way as Peter Parker did in the comics.
I feel like it’ll taken awhile for a dlc considering the fact that half of that department moved over to focus on the wolverine game. However they are definitely preparing for it

@@MalachiPlaysGames Yeah, but there was a dev from Insomniac that stated before Spider-man 2 came out that he was switching over to work on Wolverine. Not sure how many people would've switched over, but we know of at least 1 dev.
1:57:55 I can't speak on how Cindy's origin will be in Earth-1048 but in the mainline comics Cindy was bitten by the same Spider that bit Peter Parker. Cindy (Few years older than Peter, three years maybe) was attending a science exhibit and just happened to be at the same exhibit as Peter Parker. Peter was bitten on the hand by the radioactive Peter, whacking it off his hand but the Spider survived. It then crawled across the grounded until he came across Cindy, biting her on the foot before being stamped on by a student and dying. There's alot more to this story but basically she becomes the Spider hero known as Silk.
For Marvel's Spider-Man we can't say for sure how old she is in the game, going off the original comics should would be around 28 if she was three years older than Peter. So for the game they could make her around Peter's age so 23 to 25 or they could make her closer to Miles so 18 to 20. Alot of 28 year olds still look like there 19 to early 20s so it's difficult to say from only seeing her back. But nontheless I guess they have big plans for her character if there teasing her at the end.
Could be a good way to have a new main character for 3. Let Cindy develop her powers for most of the game with Peter and Miles as mentors. Then Peter and Miles have to suit up again when Goblin and Carnage show up.

For me, this combined series of episodes is your new magnum opus. Not an easy achievement to reach by any means given all your past great game playthroughs.

I haven’t been the biggest fan of this version of JJ and it’s getting harder to imagine this version of JJ having the sympathy to give a mourning Peter a job out of sympathy or defend the rights of mutants or especially befriend Peter when he learns he’s Spider-Man.
That’s the version I’d like to see more of in other media

I like that the dialogue from the Hunters at the base is different if you do it after Kraven is dead. You hear one of them asking why they're even here now that Kraven is dead. Nice attention to detail - not having them say the same dialogue they'd say before Kraven's death.
This game has reached masterpiece levels for me. No complaints anywhere, and I think it's my favorite Black Suit story outside the comics.
It's one of the rare games for me that I felt post game depression, I was so bummed it was over. The only other games to do this for me were the Mass Effect trilogy, RDR2, and Uncharted 4.
Edit: also can we please normalize saying "I love you" to our friends, especially if it's from a guy to another guy? Pete saying that, platonically, to Harry was so refreshing to hear, and I honestly teared up.

Sidequests were ass most of the time miles missions were ass he has a boring sidecast. Mj missions are bad and the gane is buggy. There is a lot of bad stuff lol
@@jasonblack2477 Not really. Side quests were a huge improvement over the previous games, Peter and Miles had very well realised arcs, as does MJ and her missions were fun this time around instead of the being a drag like they were in the first game.
@@jasonblack2477 lol I rarely ran into bugs. Only one I had was the Spider-Cube, and I thought it was hilarious.
I thought most of the side quests were great. Not all of them were perfect like the Howard or Grandpa mission, but I didn't think none of them were bad. Even Miles' side quest at his school had an incentive to do them, you get the Boricua costume.
I loved the MJ missions in this game. The first games MJ missions were ok (the last one was great), but here they served great story purposes, and had good stealth gameplay. The last MJ section in the final mission was a lot of fun, and reminded me of the gameplay in Resident Evil or a simpler version of Last Of Us.

Writing this before I start watching... how quickly a good thing can end. Such a great game, often times it felt like watching a movie, which is extraordinary and amazing, so well done! Sad to see it end, but I've started rewatching the Spider-man movies (in order ofc) and they've already been reminding me of the game so it'll live on so to speak :) Thanks for the nudge to do that Miranda!❤

I'm so bummed this playthrough is already over it feels like it just started 😭, but when one journey ends ( Marvel's Spider-Man 2 playthrough) another will very soon begin ( Batman Arkham Asylum playthrough 🤘🔥🦇🦇🦇)
Venom put Harry into a happy place of healing the world in his mind, while Venom continued his goal of symbiosis on Earth, therefore people won't die from disease because we can heal them through symbiosis win-win, also Venom is basically talking through Harry's issues that he repressed. Plus Venom made Miles think Hailey was helpless and remember what he said in the hive mind "Bring us Peter" making him think the meteorite was in the Harlem subway, but it was a trick to get Peter there so Venom can show him the dream of healing the world together. (also if you don't want to parry just jump)

This is definitely in your top 3 videos. I have a hard time saying which is best, your Spiderman series, your RDR series, or Ghost. Its all amazing to be honest.
Cindy Moon being the big reveal and most reactors not getting it strokes my superiority complex so much.
I was like "Wait. They're not talking about who I think they're talking about". And they are. I got some Silk comics after beating the game so I'm not in the dark for Spiderman 3
Most people who play this game are not avid comicbook readers and will not know who Cindy is. She is not that popular and has little exposure outside of comics.
When the first game's post-credits scene ended and you saw the symbiote, everyone got excited because the symbiote and Venom are very well known among casuals. But when this game's post-credits scene ends and you're introduced to Cindy, the majority of people are saying "Who?" and "Why is this important?"
@jhornacek Normally, I'd be a bit peeved by people not knowing certain details, this included. However, this is a rare exception, as I know Cindy/Silk is still rather unknown compared to Miles or Gwen. But I do think there might be a push to change that coming soon, if some upcoming media is to be believed.
@@CobaltiosI have no problem with them including lesser-known characters in these games. Before the first game Mr. Negative was not known by most people that had not read the Brand New Day era of Spidey comics. They introduced him and used him well in that game.
They were really lucky that Into the Spider-Verse came out the same year as the first game - that helped introduce Miles to a lot of those who hadn't read his comics.
My point is that they used the reveal of Cindy as the final stinger of the post-credits scene. This moment should be something that *everyone* will recognize and know means something (like the symbiote in the first game's PCS). Unless you read the Dan Slott era of Spidey (and if you did, I share your pain) or have read her various series (both of which got cancelled) you will have no idea who Cindy is, why the game chose to end with her reveal, or why she is important.
This is such an incredible game. Love playing along while watching your playthrough 😁

Amazing playthrough! Hope for some DLC Packs again, maybe touching on Carnage would be cool. Cause that was loose end in the game that would be perfect DLC. I mean why show all that and not follow up. Plus it doesn't make sense to be in part 3. We all know who's probably the main villain for part 3 now. Sad its over still. But now another great series, freaking Batman! Looking forward to your start of Arkham Asylum. Have an awesome weekend Miranda!!
Tbf both games have had two main villains, so carnage could very well have his own arc during the start of the third game all the while Norman and Otto do their thing

I've never been a Miles fan and never liked the Spider-Verse movies, but Insomniac's Miles is great.

Ps : if you were to watch an animated spiderman I recommend spectacular cuz he's voice by josh keaton who was electro in these games and he was very jokey and funny!

Cindy Moon is Silk, one of the many Spider-Women. Fun fact, in the comics, Cindy was bit by the **same spider** that bit Peter. She was actually bit right after Peter was, but she was then kept locked away in a bunker for… complex reasons that would take me a while to explain.
Ok, so there is special dialogue for when this is done after Kraven`s death. Good that the developers thought of that.

Yeah, it was clear that you wouldn't know who Cindy is (mostly because MOST of Spider-Man fans don't even know), so I'm gonna drop this on you...
Cindy is a character named "Cindy Moon." She is a member of the spider family who goes by the name of "Silk."
If I remember correctly, she is bitten by the same spider that bites Peter.
You had the exact right reaction to seeing Cindy. Outside of the comics no one knows her.
Amazon Prime announced they were going to do a live-action TV series about Cindy/Silk years ago, so maybe when Insomniac started this game they assumed that series would be out by the time the game was released, and the character would be more well known by the general public. But that series has been in development hell for years, so instead we get this post-credits scene that ends with the reveal of "Cindy" and most players are saying "Huh? Who's that? Why is this important?" 😆
I can't believe this is the end, I can't accept that. I believe you should do the side missions and other stuff around the game. But the ending is so good!
56:36 In the comics Kraven killed himself in the Kraven's Last Hunt story with a shotgun blast to the head when after years of fighting Spider-Man and getting cancer he went crazy, kidnapped Peter, buried him alive and impersonated him. Peter dug himself out and as Peter went to stop a thing called Vermin Kraven committed suicide. He was resurrected by his wife Sasha in the Hunted story who unlike in the games was as evil and obsessed with the hunt as him.
Kraven didn't have cancer in the comics in KLH. He was just an old man at the end of his life, obsessed with defeating Spider-Man who had thwarted him at every encounter, and dealing with the insanity in his own family.

Spider man 2 was incredible, and the easiest to actually platinum I just realized since days after finishing the game it wasn't that difficult to platinum it~ definitely my game of the year😊

Well done Miranda! I know you liked that whole ending, how Peter is just gonna be Peter for a while and Miles will become New York's only Spider-Man once again. Also Norman is planning something not good with Octavius and you finally saw Miles get with Hailey and finally saw Rio's fiancee named Albert who also has a daughter named Cindy.

I loved this game, and having just finished my copy I received from my grandparents for Christmas, I still have some cleaning up to do post story for that platinum trophy but yes, I loved how they made Peter just say “I love you” to Harry.
It didn’t really end up being for the best as far as his dad was concerned, but what the hell, we all know that with the next game being supposedly the “final chapter” based on what Otto said from his jail cell in the post credits sequence, if it is then we know they will have Norman turn into his villainous alter ego who is probably the most if not one of the most famous Spidey villains of all time that of course being Green Goblin.
I will legitimately be shocked and somewhat disappointed if the next game truly is the “final chapter” in this particular spider man arc and they don’t use Green Goblin I mean what a waste particularly with the mention from Norman about getting the “G-Serum” aka “Goblin Serum” ready.

The best part of this ending episode, and my favourite part, is the **FWOOMP** that happened when Peter hole-in-oned into the Oscorp lab.
Venom growing wings was first established in the phenomenal Donny Cates Venom run in the comics where Eddie Brock and the Symbiote as Venom defeat and dethrone the god of the Symbiotes, Knull, and become the new king known as the King in Black.
About Harry situation, i feels like Peter could give the Anti-venom suit to Harry to make him well again. Since Flash Thompson is not Agent Venom on this game and they replaced it to Harry, they could give Anti-Venom to Harry just like Flash Thompson also had the Anti-Venom suit in the comics/animated series. The Anti-venom suit has same powers/properties as the Venom symbiote just without the alter ego of Venom, it could cure Harry sickness and he can become Agent Anti-venom.
Venom with wings also a another version of Venom in the comics, it called King Venom.
My thoughts for the next game:
We may getting the birth of Norman Osborn as Green Goblin on SM3, also the comeback of Doc Ock as Superior Spider-man. We also may get to play as Cindy Moon/Silk on the next game, seeing how Peter taking a break from Spider-man it could be we only play as Miles maybe halfway through the game and Peter doing a comeback as Spider-man. So that's my prediction for the next game.
It's crazy to me that as a response to people saying the first game's MJ missions were too long of a break from the action, Insomniac decided to essentially put a mini Resident Evil game within the story lmao

You got to watch the spider verse movies so so good and do love miles in this game and the whole idea of forgiveness amd second chance
For anyone struggling with the Peter Vs Venom second phase you should have the ability that gives gadet shots for KO's and Finishers and maybe the ability that gives you a chance for a free gadet shot on a 4 hit combo so you can use gadgets and finishers on the symbiotes and then use the saved antivenom on Venom. The second phase is really hard because you need to only use the antivenom on venom and not the symbiotes.

In the OG Comics Miles becomes Spiderman after Peter was killed. The Green Goblin is Norman and his son is the Hobgoblin. Can't wait for Spider-man 3?

That was such an epic & awesome ending, between spider-man, miles morales & spider-man 2 insomniac knows how to craft epic, awe inspiring finales, peters break won’t last long, probably just until early in spider-man 3 or even sooner if the heavily rumored DLC comes to pass.

The issue I have with it is the hair showing. The point of a mask is to hide your identity, and that somewhat defeats the purpose.

I had a great time with this game. As a whole I do think I felt more fulfilled with the story of the first game although this game did also have a lot of high points. I thought Harry was handled quite well and I enjoyed his friendship with Peter but him as Venom was one aspect I don't think really worked to be honest. He felt more like a generic world ending villain which venom has always been against in the comics. The game's approach of having Harry as the host for the Symbiote as the story progressed didn't really matter as not much about Harry's personality was reflected in Venom which kind of cheapened the character. It would helped make the thread more emotionally impactful if they had kept the steaks low with an emphasis on the personal battle between Venom and Peter. Overall it felt like Venom in name and appearance only. Maybe there's a little bias in me because I'm a huge Eddie Brock and Flash Thomson fan and their development as a characters are some of my favourites in comics and they will always be my favourite Venom hosts.
These games need a villain who will have minions for you to fight, just like in the first game in Act 3 the city is full of random criminals and Sable Agents that are trying to kill you.
I'm sure there will be some DLC to be released soon. I'm not sure what credit scenes will be involved in it, but it will be good nonetheless!

I feel like you'd really enjoy some of the PS3 era of Spider-Man games (some of the most underrated IMO) Edge Of Time, Web Of Shadows & Shattered Dimensions are all great and I think you'd really enjoy them.

Yeah Marvels Spider-Man 2 was definitely an emotional rollercoaster 😄. I think the game had some great moments and some very questionable ones too. Mary Jane wasn't as annoying in this game. So, at the end of the game, the character Cindy is Cindy Moon which in the comics is a character that was retconned to have been bitten by the exact same spider that bit Peter Parker and gave him his powers only moments later. Snd became the vigilante Silk. Initially the character wasn't really well written and had this weird thing where her and Peter were extremely attracted to each other, thanks to pheromones that came from being bitten by the same spider which caused them to constantly make out whenever they were in close proximity of one another. It was pretty stupid and the character has since been much better written after she wasn't written by Dan Slott who created her. I'm not a massive fan of the character so I'm not too excited to see what they do with her
