Ryan Reynolds said that he and the makers purposely asked for a lower budget than Disney was prepared to offer them, remembering that the first Deadpool (2016) was such a success because they had constant time and budget limitations, which fostered an atmosphere for great creativity.
The funniest thing is all the reactions that I have seen is curious about Gambit's accent. If you can find a video of Cajuns or creole from Louisiana in the US and you will hear Gambit's accent.

Seb, I really hope you saw Loki season 2 in your free time.
Something I really appreciated about this movie was the opening credits. Deadpool 1 and 2 had the credits at the very end and I was never a fan of that, but this time they acknowledged everyone just like James Gunn did with the Guardians franchise.
The quality took me by surprise because this is a Deadpool movie. Deadpool 1 and 2 were made to intentionally look like total CGI, but with the MCU involved they had to raise the bar. It paid off more than well.
Also, I don’t think the MCU was necessarily at a low point except with Secret Invasion. Most of the projects they revealed after Endgame were pretty excellent. Guardians Volume 3 and Loki season 2 helped pick up the slack and more.
What I was most excited for was for you to see Laura again. Dafne Keen was only 10-11 years old when she worked on Logan 2017 which was her big acting debut. Now she’s 19 and after all these years she still got it. Dafne had doubts as to whether she would be able to portray Laura again. Now that she’s back, she actually wants to reprise her role. Also, she’s still wearing the sunglasses from before.
Before my sister and I went to see this movie on opening weekend, I joined for her first time watching Loki season 2. I especially wanted her to see Ke Huy Quan, and like me his character OB ended up being one of her favorites. The reactions paid off after seeing the new and improved TVA have a role.
By the way, this is the second X-Men film to have Bye Bye Bye. The first one was X-Men 2. However, that’s not Ryan Reynolds in the suit. That was a pro dancer who needed to come up with the choreo as fast as he could.

I’ll mention, Elektra actually has her own movie that was REALLY good imo. It was one of my favourites when I was younger, it feels so unique compared to other marvel movies even at the time
Kinda suprised you never watched X-Men 97’ OR loki season 2. Probably the best Disney plus marvel things.

Loki in general is the best D+ show I’ve watched so far. Wandavision is okay. I can watch a couple of episodes of Moon Knight from time to time. Everything else…meh. Really didn’t care to watch them again after the first time around.

Deadpool does know how to fight, he’s a skilled swordsman, but his healing factor has made him more confident and he’s so insane in the head that nobody can predict what he’ll do, that’s one thing that makes Deadpool deadly because he’s super unpredictable, even taskmaster who’s known for copying fighting styles was starting to go crazy in the head after attempting copying Deadpool.

This movie, quite litrally, pefectly represents the differences between Deadpool and Wolverine. Ryan and Hugh's performances are fucking perfect. Literally just as if the characters were ripped off the comic pages and thrown into a movie. I have to give a shoutout to the fights! They perfect encapsulate how Deadpool fights, very acrobatic and quick, and Wolverine, animalistic and aggressive. Its litrally perfect. The dance scene, we know isnt 100% Ryan, but the character of Deadpool would do that 100%. I just loved it. I havnt clicked a video faster than when i saw ur upload. Great reaction, glad you got to see Chris this way, it was so awesome!
Had the pleasure of watching this for my birthday with my family and loved every minute of it. Only thing I would have loved to see is Thomas Jane as Punisher.
I've seen a lot of people say that Chris Evans as Johnny in this was barely different than him as Cap, but I strongly disagree. The accent is completely different, the tone of voice. Not to mention the obvious difference in vocabulary lol. But I think the two characters are distinctly different and I think Chris portrays that well in this.

@@livinginstereo X-Men 97 was incredible 9.5/10, Loki S2 was great 8.5/10, WV and Moon Knight was pretty good 8/10, Shang Chi was pretty good 8/10, FTWS was good 7/10, Eternals wasn’t good, it was average 5/10, Ms Marvel was bad 4/10, The Marvels was terrible 3/10, Agatha All Along just passable 6/10.

Gardiens of the galazy 3 was good too! A great finale with a lot of emotions, excellent music and fun action.

I saw in the theather twice. When i first saw chris i was confused and was ready to roll my eye if he said "i can do this all day". Then he said "flame on" and i cheered and started to tear up. I was still hyped because of those 2 little words 9 hours after they were said. Ive listened to Gambits part so much on yt clips that i understand him perfectly

Gambit is Creole, yes even in the animated series he did have a similar accent. I believe it is called "pidgin" which is a combination of French-Portuguese and Louisiana Native American. His powers (aside form the usual enhanced strength and reflexes and speed) is the manipulation of kinetic energy. He can absorb hits and redirect that force into an object, person or just supercharge it for a big explosion. His weapons of choice is the bo-staff and playing cards because he is a habitual card player. When fully charged, they get so hot they melt steel. I LOVE Tatum's Gambit, he not only looks so good as him (because Gambit is muscular but lean) but also the accent is pretty accurate too.

Logan isn't immortal and his healing factor is less than Wade's.
He's not getting his own movie (unless they decide to switch things up); basically, Channing had been trying for YEARS to get a Gambit movie made, much like Ryan was trying to get Deadpool made. It almost happened, but never did. That's why he has the line about having waited a long time to make a name for himself.

Fantastic 4 (2005) cost $100m and grossed $330m.
Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) cost $130m and grossed $300m.
Also, without Fox making Xmen, Fantastic 4, and other Marvel Comic Movies back then, the Marvel movie universe wouldn’t exist now. These movies proved that comics movies weren’t a complete waste of time.
Without those movies, there’s no Ironman, and no Captain America. This movie was made as a love letter to those movies.

Gambit is absolutely meant to sound like that, he's cajun so therefore has this beautiful strong south accent with french influence because he's from Louisiana. Channing's father is from New Orleans, too. He also said he heard cajun accent from everyone while growing up but never used it before this. I think he absolutely nailed Remy's accent and his quite unhinged persona, its very authentic to the comics!
