- This is the Audi AI-RACE, formally called the PB-18 because it was released at Pebble Beach last year. I fly in to Germany to take a look at where Audi pictures the brand to be in the next few years. Take a look at how the seat, steering wheel and pedals all move in to different positions for different driving modes. 🤯

Not sure why they even made it run. It only needs to be a design prototype. Audi needs to wait for Rimac to develop a drive train for them, but currently way too busy.
@@yugarten8523 Nah Porsche just uppped their stake from 10% to 15.5% in September. Also the feature set touted for this car. Exactly what Rimac is developing and specialize in. This is an educated estimation.

Con: When being robbed, you have to beat the robbers by a mile to your car so you can fix the seat to be able to drive off.
Audi R8: man I don’t know if I can be against this car
Cool car, but surely with the internal driver ‘pod’ system, this could be adapted so that the car could be a right hand drive or a left hand drive, therefore, I assume, would reduce production costs. A further separate seat could be added but transferable either to the right or left.

The PB18 is exactly what you said Audi doesn’t want to do. You said one purpose, then why the hell is it a sport station wagon. There is nothing sporty about a wagon. It should be a Coupé, like the R8 etron was supposed to be, but with Audi scrapping the TT and R8 it looks like they are going for practicality rather than looks or speed. They also stopped making an RS4 and RS6 Sedan in favor of a wagon despite them being heavier and less aerodynamic
