Tbh it looks like a 2020
@@Calx91it definitely doesn’t
@@epicswirl did I ask mf?
@@Calx91 you commented mf.
This is incredible, I honestly didn't know it still existed outside of the movie. About 18 years later and it's still looking as good as it did in 04. That's impressive
I thought it was cgi back then
@davidfavors781 that's a valid point, i never considered the car to be but yeah I could see it possibly being cgi for back in 04.
@@chriswade42 yea and I was kid way back then lol so it probably didn’t click right away but man that thing is sick for it’s time
@davidfavors781 oh yeah I was about 13, 14,.. I'm gonna have to give it another watch sometime it's probably been a decade since I've seen it. But I agree, the design was great then and it's still great 👍 lol
Whats crazy is Cars going to look that way in 100yrs
Im quite glad Audi didn't ditch completely the design like other companies do and actually made it into the R8 we all know and love.
The R8 was heavily inspired by this car. Everything from the lights to the body frame
Big win
its just the TT with an upgrade
Like the BMW vision in Mission impossible becoming the i8.
(Although that wasn’t specifically made for MI but whatever)
@@Icetea-2000 I do love the idea of promoting concept cars through movies tho
This is genuinely still one of the best looking 'cars' ever designed. Always loved 'I, Robot', such a hugely underrated movie.
Watching this as a kid blew me away. This is actually the reason I grew to love Audi because of this car
The same with me man !
Same here lmao
Same I have one now
It’s just an r5 with wheels covered the guy is just hyping the car up 😂
@@sardaarji249 no such thing as r5. S5 and rs5. But I get what ur saying. This more closely resembles a Audi TT. The s5 is way longer and less bulbous. None the less this thing is wicked and sleek. He should’ve just slapped the robot and won😅
... it's 2022 and this concept still looks wayyy futuristic, awesome stuff
I thought it was 2022 january 1
Bruh it's the an Audi R8 lol
@@iiiduncaniii The design, not the stick lmao.
Nah, it looks like a 20yr old concept
No it dosnt lol get out more
18 years later and it still slaps bro, just like Will Smith.
Keep my movies age out yo FUCKIN MOUTH!
Give it a rest. Goodness.
This is my favorite movie car of all time. I watched it as a kid and was completely in awe. It made me a huge Audi fan lol
Now will smith can reach people who say his wife’s name faster
Disclaimer: for those fighting in the comments, I love and adore will smith and he is one of my favourite actors. He was right to slap Chris Rock since he was in no position to make fun of Jada Pinkette. Please understand this.
What a burrn
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bro 💀
💀🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lame
man I was 12 when the movie came out and it was this that got me into cars, even tho I’m no longer an Audi fan this still holds a special spot in my heart
Hard to believe it’s 18 years old. It definitely nailed the future look, so many cars in 2022 look basically like this
Dude its an Audi R8 these cars are on the road today.
@@OnlyDamp yes but the movie came out a long time ago meaning it did a good job representing future cars
@@themoshpit8341 the first r8 came one year later than this car
Where's my spheres?
Just imagine how cool you would look walking to your car then 6 minutes later, when the door is finally open, getting in.
This is definitely one of the coolest cars to ever be uploaded from RUclips! Thank you Superblonde car team for making these videos!
Maybe this car makes u so frustrated u want to slap everyone 🤣
Superblone car team lol
I never would have imagined that this was still around and in such great shape
I don't care if it was 2004, I want to see these everywhere in the future
Duuude! My dad took me to see this movie when I was a kid and from then on I was in love with Audi. I even started drawing cars for fun it was that cool. Thanks for showing us this!
Thats why I still love the 1st gen R8. The fact that it ended up looking like the RSQ made my jaw drop back then!
As a matter of fact, the RSQ was inspired in the 2002 Le Mans Quattro.
@@SirLuicho looks like stock 1st gen as from now
It has more than stood the test of time! Such a beautiful design! When the doors are open it looks like it just wants to give you a big cuddle.
It’s one of those few concept cars that aged exceptionally well
I fell in love with this car in the movie, she looks even more amazing in person ❤❤
Looks still better than most new car models.
Probably because it's meant to be a car from the future...
"OlD gOoD, nEw BaD"
Bro, every era has it's good and bad looking car, and it's really up to one's preferences
you clearly haven't seen newer M5 and nissan 400z
U definitely don’t go out much huh?
@@andrewjones4774 there's this thing called opinions and youve got a bad one
The R8 was born because of this car
Not necessarily, I think this was more Audi showing off a concept car while the R8 was being developed, which would eventually turn into the R8...
the r8 was born from the Audi Le Mans prototype of 2003
Bike e mais rapido
The R8 was developed for GT racing. Only race cars based on real race cars are allowed in these races.
I think this is just Audi tryna do some foreshadowing.
I thought this movie died out and nobody else remembered it besides me, One of my favorite concept cars and movie
Same
Fell in love with this design as a kid. Even seeing it now in 2022? Still looks amazingly futuristic
This car slaps
I see what you did there
😂😂😂
This vehicle was ahead of its time for a 2004 model
the R8 became my favorite car of all time after watching this as a kid, so happy that still working after 18 years, great vid
Supercar Blondie Absolutely incredible I think it's awesome that Sergi got to see and drive the Audi RSQ from I Robot and I think it looks so Futuristic especially for being made in 2004
Still for me this is the best looking car Audi has ever made..
4:59 LMFAO
Loved the movie since 2004. Amazing to see the car still exists as a prop, and great that it's at Audi.
This is really cool, I'm happy for you that you got a chance to drive and record this legend's car.
Super cool that you got to drive this! I love that movie and that car!
That’s cool! I actually had a 2009 R8 and loved that car!!
Those are super dope for sure
This was such an iconic car.
Seeing that car was like a slap in the face !
Really nice you the RSQ on your channel... It looked stunning then and it looks stunning now! Incredible how those doors open...
duuude what a blast from the past! this was my dream car as a kid..would be sick if they made this a reality someday.
also I like how the screen looks outdated now even tho its supposed to be a car from the future, lol
Good work! Thanks!
That's so cool it's actually real! Let alone a actual functioning moving driving car !
I would've thought it was all animated, or purely a static prop
The fact it has an actual engine and gearbox and working doors that operate on their own is wild
I wonder what they used underneath for this
what engine/gearbox it has
Where the chassis is from
Maybe an older Audi 80 1.9tdi ? B3 ?
Super cool either way
Cool to see the prop stuff used for movie production and the hidden panel for controlling it
Realmente tiene ruedas, se puede observar en una parte del video.. No es como en la película, con esferas en vez de ruedas! Este si tiene ruedas!
This car really looks like a futuristic care from 2005!
*car
Why is every car you guys film, one of the craziest cars you had ever filmed? xD
My thoughts 💭
ohhh my goood! love that car!!! crazy to see it!! thanks for that!
Thats cool as heck. Great video. 👍
That would look gorgeous with normal wheels. They should have took that into production
Pretty much almost the same as the R8
With normal wheels? You mean a Audi R8?
With normal wheels it's clearly an R8
They did
Or rather an Audi Lemans, still a concept car but much closer to production
I was litteraly thinking of this car a few days ago how I’ve never seen anything like it in the media or a recreation since the movie iRobot… and look. 😂 god this car is so beautiful 🤩
OMG I LOVED THIS CAR AND THE MOVIE- I appreciate this Video a lot!
I've loved this car from my very first viewing of I, Robot when I was like 9 years old. This car, and this movie is just sooo good. I have been waiting for someone to find it and do a video on it.
Insane, but expect nothing less from you guys. Thank you "content Kings/and Queen Blondie !!
Almost 20 years old, what a relic
that car is SLAPPING!
Imagine someone chasing you but you gotta wait for your doors to open 😂😂😂
Always love this car from the movie. Hope you had fun making this video.
Looks epic 😮
That movie made me love and respect Audi. I always felt like it was one of those forgotten cool cinema vehicles
That's insane! Slap a battery and some electric motors in there and it would be perfect! Looks like it's hovering in motion!!! I love the shape of it!!!
Will Smith doesnt need to slap anything anymore
@@Delta-nl7pi Hahaha 😆
Why would you turn a perfectly good gas powered car into an electric car
@@adamnasir2 because it actually fits the car and it might actually get it moving 🤣
@@adamnasir2 cause it looks like a spaceship, not a gas guzzler....
I’m sick he never filmed the car riding with the doors closed so we can see the car ride in it’s natural state 🤦🏾♂️
Wow! That thing slaps!
This is great ND lovely
This car kinda reminds me of Justin Bieber's custom Roll Royce Wraith lol
2:25 The door opened way too quickly, the need to slow it down further
Yeah it needs to be like 5 times slower. Who thought it was a good idea to make it open that fast?!!?!
Amazing. This car slaps
Truly can’t believe the car is that old. Still looks very modern and futuristic
Valla bence Audi ' nin geleceğine yön veren bir tasarımdı , gördüğüm her yeni Audi ' de bu tasarım çizgilerini arıyorum özellikle o panjur efsane 👍👍👍
Ohh yeah man! One of my favorite cars that made me want to go to the future in 2005 when I first saw it! Now in 2022, 18 years after the movie released... It looks still futuristic and almost like a concept car just designed! Like it's as if it's going to release in the next decade when I looked at this car compared to the others around it...
2035 is only 12 years away now, still a long time but not a few decades 😁
The Audi RSQ was designed as a 2033 model year according to an article from the internet. They would probably actually release this as it's intended 2033 model year in exactly a decade 😂
However, it would have to be an electric car as no combustion engined cars will be made after 2030!
@@mrlister2000 Right! Very true 💯
That looks so good
YESSIR I Have Always Love This Car. Wonderful 😍😍🥰🥰💖💖💯💯💯💯💕
if they made an E-tron version that looked just like this, maybe not the doors, but yea it would be such a best seller!
cool looking TT
This car was an alternate design proposal for the R8 and is built on a really old, narrow, donor car from eastern Europe with running gear to accomodate the wheels on such a wide body for it still to be able to steer. Really cool stuff!
Its some rear engined Skoda under the skin ;)
@@PianoandCarcrack94
Who built this?
@@xmo552 Uedelhoven Studios :)
Jesus, I was wandering what had happened to that car from years ago. Goo to see him 👌🏻
back in those days the inside interior was like wow for most people but now these years of days cars are improving even more
No they not.
Cars are becoming more expensive because of all the techs and harder to reach for repair which add more labor time, and easily break, and won't last that long. I seen newer cars in the shop compare to older cars. Just saying.
You mean putting everything on a pain in the ass touch screen? Yeah I wanna fuck with the touchscreen to adjust climate controls and media stuff
Stunning 😍
This video is going right into my "important videos" playlist.
It still looks futuristic, today!
Were you scared of the doors were closed you wouldn't be able to get out 🤣🤣
Magnificent!
Man this car slaps!
Slaps hard 🫲🏿
But slow, by the doors if you happen to be in the way.😄
It doesn't have the circular wheels but it does look amazing 🤩
He actually said this in the video.
@dingusmcgee9075 lol
My car has circular wheels. I tried the square ones but they made the ride SO uncomfortable. (*GLOBULAR wheels).
Nostalgia really just hit me like a brick wall
This is one Iconic car that is still ahead of its time!
There's at least 5 reasons to NOT drive with the car doors open, and one reason to not let this dude drive your vehicle!
It would probably lift.😄
Yes I watched this movie and I know it's a really great movie I very love will smith and Audi Really great car Thank you very much
I was obsessed with this as a kid
He can smack you out the window now😂🤣 cool video. Thanks for sharing
it wasnt designed to be a police car at all. it was spooner's personal vehicle, confirmed by his captain in the movie.
I love your content, 💗 love from India ❤️
Now that's actually a cool concept car it's not over the top with styling and luxury but its still showing of the future
Looking beautiful and modern car
Besides the fact that the doors take 2 months to fully open, its pretty cool 😅
You have to schedule a date in advance that you'd like to drive your car haha
Eu esperava esse carro desde 2004 quando tinha 10 anos kkkkkkkkkk
@Ronald Moura 🇧🇷 kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
it's seen so futuristic and so retro at the same time
this car slapps
this car was built way ahead of its time. and looks better than most electrics cars now.
It definitely does not… u people r weird af. Current cars r way better
@@andrewjones4774 yeah i assume u drive a toyota prius
@@andrewjones4774 I assume u think Tesla's/electric car are good for the environment when they aren't even close
@@andrewjones4774 well that’s ur opinion. Just because someone doesn’t agree with u doesn’t mean they’re weird. But u the one acting all weird by taking this comment so personally.
Imagine supercar Blondie doing a test drive on that, and a bunch of evil robots come out of nowhere constantly repeating "you are experiencing a car accident"
i forgot to haha
With the doors open the car looks like it wants to give hugs
All I can say is wow wow that is fantastic
