Intuition and conscience are what woke me up and let me escape and do my research. It is my belief that the end never justifies the means people deserve to be given evidence from both sides of any given issue. Thanks for sharing your story.

Ive been subscribed to you ever since you spoke about your Ayahuasca experience in 2015 and it fascinated me. I did a sweat lodge with my senior class (my school was pretty hippie school) and was introduced to the spiritual healing aspects of nature and the universe. Since your video I actually did countless research because your story of you and your mum really resonated with me. It was my full goal and intension of doing a ceremony to bring in the next decade of my 30s but i didnt manage to make it happen . I think these current videos youve been posting is a sign I need to tap back into my spiritual awakening. Thank you for sharing your journey- ive always been so drawn to you and your presence and your smile is radiating

Loved hearing your story. Incredible they took so long to reinstate you but a blessing all the same. It is ridiculous the power they have over a person's life. I was raised JW and thankfully escaped before baptism. I look back on it in a positive light from a child's perspective but would not want to walk that path as an adult. I also got into Life Coaching and New Age. But then I started receiving visions from Jesus, dreams and some other big experiences happened. My life has been one unexpected thing after the other. I have learned more about Jesus from Himself than I did in that religion. So many dear death experience people meet Jesus also and He never tells them to find the JW organisation when they come back. He always just says to love people 💜

The same situation happen to me i was dissed many years ago tried to give one last hevjo so i went to a memorial a few years ago sat in the back and after the prayer my inner conscious said bro this isnt for you anymore! I got up and left and never went back. I truly believe god was telling me this is not for you. There are 70,000 people who are dissed a year that is dark and mind blowing. I believe in a higher power but its fleeting coming and going. Religion as a whole is outdated and most of us have our own spirituality and feel no need to sit in any church to find god! Also most have endured so much on our own and got through it were are just exhausted 😢.

My dad (rip) had a parakeet bird but he never clipped her wings. She was free to fly around the house and the bird knew how to talk. So one day I came home from school and my job was to let her out the cage and go on the porch and scoop the kitty litter. The damn bird flew out the door. I felt so sad cause I felt like I lost his bird. Surprisingly, when my father came home I was honest with him and told him I lost the bird and it flew down the skreet. He wasn’t mad about it. He told me not to worry. About 6 hrs later the bird came back. My point is, I’ve always treated women like the bird. I’m pretty sure a couple of my exes will say I’m not affectionate enough so that’s why they cheated. Marriage to me sounds too much like slavery. One of my best friends is a girl from highschool. Everybody thinks we are a couple but we aren’t we just enjoy each other company. Whenever she in the Bity I pick her up and give her keys to my apartment. When she leaves she always leaves like 3-500 under my coffee maker.. when I visit her in Vegas she lets my family stay in her condo and she takes my car to get detailed.. I always leave her like 400-500 on her nightstand. I’d love to be married to her but we both understand that we free birds.

Long ago in the 1970s, I studied for a few months and decided at 19 yrs old that I’d found ‘the truth’. Fortunately my sense of fun didn’t allow me to be reined in which led me to drop the bible study and eventually marry a guy who told me wt was bullshit. (I guess I was POMI from 1973 until 1989 before POMI was ‘a thing’) Pre-internet, there was no one to talk to about the torturous fear of armageddon and the nightmares I had for YEARs. I was embarrassed that I deeply believed the jw fear-mongering. I worked hard, became a graphic designer but told no one why i had a guilt migraine at every christmas party, felt uneasy when big halloween costume parties rolled around. I went to counseling because I was depressed and suicidal but I didn’t want bring shame to Jehovah so I never spoke about why I was terrified. The marriage ended, and then of course someone knocked at my door inviting me to a bible study. At the kingdom hall in 1989, I was love-bombed and I finally joined the religion. I faded after 4 years because I just could not stand the conservative lifestyle. I left and faded in 1992 and re-gained POMI-ship until I woke up in 2019 when I discovered the xjw community. I see young beautiful women like you who have courage and goodness and I remember my young, beautiful self once-upon-a-time. I’m so happy to see people gain the freedom and support that took me so long to find. 🧡 😻

I was in a bad marriage and also committed adultery in my wife was a Jehovah's witness but she had one of the worst temper of anyone I've known I became spiritually check-in remembered that scripture that if you confess your sins to Jehovah he will forgive and you will get new wings to fly again. I remembered the scripture about your sins being as red as Scarlet that Jehovah would make them white as snow and I also remembered the story of The prodigal son. How fast I learned that it was a mistake to confess your sins to the elders. There was no love and no mercy shown. There was no story of The prodigal son and I was disfellowshipped. I tried to go back and sit in the back of the room but I just couldn't take it. Then I was told it would probably take 18 months to get reinstated. Where do they come up with this. shuyt? There is no prep digital son story because there is no forgiveness did it take his father 18 months to forgive him? I knew the daughter of an elder who is disfellowshipped for simply dating a worldly person. She was just fellowshipped in reinstated after just three months only to turn around and start dating him and she was disfellowshipped for another three months and then she was reinstated again.

That's interesting; I attempted suicide on 4/20/2011 and after that the Jehovah's Witness I had been was gone. The next meeting I attended I found there was no longer any meaning to it; I might as well have been someone's bible study at a meeting who was like "this isn't for me." I also found that I was bound more to my non JW coworkers and managers than I was members of Jehovah's Witnesses. After 4/20/2011 I walked away from the Organization and on 6/18/14 I formally disassociated.

Unbelievable, but so typical of what I'm seeing here on RUclips and many other ex-JW forums. As a long-time ex-elder of JW's; I can say that if I were on your judicial committee, I would have recommended just private reproof, and then allow you to divorce your abusive hypocritical husband. Perhaps a dual public reproof of both of you, just so the congregation would not be pointing fingers and judging either of you, but allowing you to divorce scripturally.
If someone has the courage to go to the elders to confess a sin they committed; that alone screams a repentant and remorseful attitude. No excuse for DF'ing, in my opinion. I feel that way because when you actually really READ the gospel letters of the apostles; you realize that Jesus himself would have never treated you like that. His many lessons on mercy and forgiveness and his dealings with practicing sinners shows that even though he was appointed to be Judge of all mankind one day, he never treated a sheep in his flock like dirt and kicked them out of his association.
And I too was unjustly and unscripturally disfellowshipped for something that wasn't even a scripturally serious sin! These clowns made up their own interpretation of what constituted a "sin"! It took me 8-12 months before I began to realize that though I never lost my relationship with God, and prayed for forgiveness where I did fall short; I had not committed something worthy of shunning someone for! I gleaned what cautionary counsel I could from the experience overall, but began to realize that the organization was transforming itself into a cult! A cult who follow men and their elders manual OVER THE BIBLE. They have forgotten the hundreds of scriptures showing God's love and mercy, and Jesus fairness and mercy in judging sinners he came into contact with! Now THEY ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO JEHOVAH FOR THIS GROSS APOSTASY from the teachings of scripture!

You said a lot in this video but nothing about your personal relationship with God. From everything you said you were serving him for people not for him. Jehovah knows who belongs to him.

Sounds like you are an active JW. You probably should not be on my channel.

You were disfellowshipped because you committed a serious sin and were unrepentant. You were going to be disfellowshipped regardless of how honest you were. Also, you got baptized for the wrong reason. You were supposed to get baptized to serve Jehovah, not to please your mother because Jehovah's in charge of your salvation, not your mother.

So you proved your ex husband right by cheating on him and you were mad at him for trying to prevent that... Lol im a little worried for the current husband. At least you eventually realized that you were trying to get reinstated for the wrong reason, some people dont and only do it for family rather than actually believing that God has a name and his son is Jesus.
