- Russia is stepping up its offensive in the east of Ukraine, a year on from the start of the war.
Some of the fiercest fighting is around the city of Vuhledar in the Donbas region, as Russian troops attack the town.

It was necessary to cry when the Ukrainian guns killed the children of Donbass. When Russia finally stood up for these people, journalists immediately ran up and began to shed crocodile tears. You will see the Alley of Angels in Donetsk - children killed by Ukrainian fascists!

Did you have the same sympathy for the people of Donbas who were constantly shelled for 10 years before the Russians invasion? or what about all the areas that Ukraine have lost but shell villages and towns rather than the front lines? There are a few other reporters, like Charlie Dagada, who risk their own lives to cover conflict zones. Instead of criticizing who people chose to honor, find someone else who is worthy of praise and recognize them on your own. Cheers!
