- friends - here are the first of my dramione fanfiction recommendations series. and in this edition we have my favorite novel-length stories ♡°ω°♡.
i have a confession - i spent the better part of last year reading dramione fanfictions and since then, i have read more than 300 works, so i decided to make a youtube channel to share with you all my thoughts & two cents, not only on fan works but also on books and reading in general. i was extremely nervous filming this so please bear my awkwardness for about 15 minutes, promises to do better next time ●﹏●.

I didn't like it... I couldn't finish it... I didn't like Hermione in thin fanfic
I wish i did not read manacled early in my dramione reading era. Now any other fanfic seems "empty". But this fanfic really is amazing!
Which one specifically is amazing? I just finished Manacled and I don’t think I can imagine any other story for them. This is how it’s set in my mind now but it was just so sad!!

it’s rare to find recommendations that i haven’t heard before!! people often recommend the same few fics over and over. i just read Sweetly Broken and it’s now one of my favs! THANKS SO MUCH! i’m gonna read some of ur other recs too ❤️❤️ ur channel is a hidden gem and i’m excited to see what other videos you’ll upload!

Great reviews! I haven’t read like half of these, and I am definitely going to put them on my TBR! Static especially sounds like a great read. I have been waiting to read Sweetly Broken, but I LOVE LadyKenz’s fixing what you broke; it’s one of my favorites. I adore her works. Also, your review of Manacled made me laugh. Such a great and passionate video!! Thank you for the work and love you put into selecting the best fan fictions. And I love the way you describe this one book as comforting as a warm blanket! I also loved Manacled soo much, Senlinyu is my all time favourite author. "All you Want" is another, very spicy work of her which is completely different to Manacled but still soo good. I admire Senlinyu for writing about Draco and Hermoine in the most in-character way than I have ever read. Even more in-character than the original books or movies - I know this goes far but I believe she just understood the characters better than anyone before. "Let the dark in" is another story by her which she is still finishing. Also a very sweet story! Also Senlinyu just manages it to give Hermione always the lead and to not end up in some toxic sexist behaviour by Draco - which can be sometimes found in Dramione Fan Fictions.

Thank you for all these recommendations! Manacled has to be my alltime favourite one and will live in my heart forever (just like you said!) but thirteenth night is veeeeery high up there too! The way Draco is portrayed here is just *chefs kiss*!! I’m excited to read into the other ones now 😍

i've read more than a half of these recs and they were all so good 🥲 even ended up reading almost all of galfoy's fics and they were good too (especially kings and queens as i like how the author built narcissa and lucius here). still haven't dared to touch manacled yet, i'll come back for it when i'm ready lol.

my absolute fave fics are isolation and the auction they were my 2 first dramione fics i read and i absolutely love them! i think in isolation dracos character developement is so beautiful to see and i just love the way its written, the auction was my very first dramione fic and im so glad it was, the way this is written is beautiful and so real, in this fic draco acts like the tough guy (like in most fics) but hes really such a sweetheart and cares deeply for hermione. These are a MUST to read if you like dramione!

I’m newly converted and verrry Dramione obsessed now. So far I’ve read Water (good) and Draco Malfoy and The Mortifying Ordeal of Being in Love (earth-shatteringly amazing if you haven’t read this yet you MUST, NOW) and I see no end in sight. Okay update I read Manacled and yaaaaaaaaa’ll I will NEVER RECOVER. I think this is the new canon for me. It’s just so good I don’t forsee finding anything better 😭😭😭😭

Thank you for the recs!!! I started reading dramione fanfics as a middle schooler, and I didn't pick it up again until almost 10 yrs later. I'm going to check out some of the lighthearded recommendations for sure!
As for isolation, I'm currently 10 chapters away from finishing it. I've been reading since March and its taken me so long because I dreaded some chapters, it's definitely not in the favorite books for me. I'll still finish it but idk it's pretty bad in my eyes for it to be so high up on the dramione classics :/

as for isolation -- i can totally see what you mean. since you bring up middleschool (LOL) i think isolation is like THE definition of a fanfiction that you'd go bonker for in middleschool, but if u are a bit older now, it does bring a lot of red flags & problems 😮💨 but as i said in the video, i had a good time with it & it was my first so i'll always love it ❤️
@i read this and that you make a good point! Had I read Isolation as a tween, it would be a different story. I finished it now! The ending chapters are way better now that Draco wasn't so insufferable. It could've definitely been way better in the first half but those last 10 chapters I needed to finish were not so bad after all😁

One that I am missing terribly here: "From Wiltshire, With Love" by MistressLynn, I loved it, I reread pieces of it many times and one day I will do full reread for sure.

Love this! Also I was surprised you didn’t mention the Rights and Wrongs Series by LovesBitca8 particularly The Auction! I’m sure you’ve hear of it. Otherwise you will come back here and thank me. Trust me they are GOD TIER!!!! I suggest reading them in the following order so that it makes send more sense.

It’s SO WORTH IT! It can be a bit slow at first but it’s incredible. One of my all time favs, it’s been taken offline so I have it downloaded on my laptop. Pleaseeeee try again!

@@ireadthisandthatit's actually more traumatic than manacled like after like 50 chaps or so hermione is finally out of the alienage after running for too long and then she's on a train but draco can't join her since he is being hunted down by other death eaters for helping in the escape so they part again😭😭

@i read this and that it's not for everyone and first a couple of characters could be difficult to read but then it set the bar and ruin you for any other stories 👍
