Danny... you're a heck of a good teacher. You're thorough and easy to follow.
I appreciate that Greg, thanks for the support
Nice troubleshooting vid! In particular, since Honda no longer makes the Element, E-owners need all the help we can get!
Hopefully it helps others, Thanks for the the kind words
A wealth of information! Thank you so much for the attention to detail on your videos
My pleasure! I appreciate your support
Danny keep up the great videos!!!!!!!
Appreciate your kindness
Good tip checking the relays with the headlamp relay. Thanks.
@@davidprovance6609 I appreciate you watching
Great video, Danny. A valuable piece of advice you can follow or offer anytime dealing with electrical issues is to get a hold of the wiring diagram for that particular vehicle. If not, you will be chasing a problem in the dark.
Absolutely agree
Great Stuff. Do you have the a/c self diagnosis for 14 odyssey by any chance?
Excellent. Thank you
Appreciate that
Grasias
Appreciate your comment
hey do you have any videos over checking tie rode ends or struts'
I don’t, great suggestion though
Hi Dan, My honda City 2009 is having the problem of not blowing cold air in afternoons or when its hot outside but icecold Temperature at night times/colder times. Both the fan is working perfectly and the airfilter and cabin filter and radiators are clean as well. I'm thinking maybe expansion valves issue? But then why cold air at night?.Also i cant see any frost on the valve tubes which kinda says not an expansion valve problem also.Any thoughts or suggestions dan would be much appreciated.
If your systems Freon level is correct, the expansion valve is probably a good possibility, did you watch my videos on replacing the expansion valve
Same issue with my 2007 Honda civic as well
Can I suggest you add Amazon links to your description menu? Afaik, this adds revenue to the channel. For instance, I don't have the blue-colored tester you use in this video. I think a link could help us all! Your work is appreciated!
It’s the Innova 5420 power check, I went over it in my previous video and didn’t want my videos to sound like I’m trying to sell them, they are available on Amazon, I could do a review on it, do you think that’s something my viewers would be interested in?
I’ll probably AFAIK, next year, I just don’t have time now. Trying to build the channel 1st, I do appreciate your great feedback
@@dannysdiygarage Ha! I was afraid I missed it in another video, LOL! Yes, it would be helpful to have quick links in the description and yes, a review on some basic, multi-purpose tools would be helpful as well. Once you have the time, you can use the "cards" feature from YT to point to other videos for additional information the audience may have missed (that's included in a previously-made video). I will add, for "how-to" videos such as these, it's becoming standard to include some type of link. In your case, I doubt it would seem pushy at all... I think your audience knows/feels you're not in it for a quick buck, but genuinely want to help support us as we try keeping our vehicles running in top shape.
@@dannysdiygarage But don't be overwhelmed! Hey to it whenever you can... Honestly, you're doing a great job explaining and walking us through the processes.
@@freeltamon7208 appreciate that, you have no idea how much time goes into these videos, nice comments are always appreciated
Hi, I tried the diagnostic to turn the fans on but the radiator n ac fan didn't turn on. I checked all the fuses and relay. The fans turn on if I put direct power on it. Any other suggestion?
I'm chasing a similar problem, my compressor clutch is not engaging. Today, as per your instructions, I found the condensor fan not working. While troubleshooting this issue, I found that if I turned off the A/C switch (push button) on the dash, the fans would start. Press the button, and the fans turn off. Interesting issue....
Danny, you are producing some great videos. I truly appreciate your attention to details including the addition of lighting on the components you are discussing.
Mine was the 30 amp small green fuse. Put it in, ac came right on w cold air. Turned it off thinking it fixed it. Went out the next day and no load on the ac and also no cold air. I got home and the 30 green fuse was blown. Brand new one too. I reached down w power off and tried to turn the ac condenser fan on the right w my hand: it was really stiff to turn . I think it’s my fan that’s bad. I did your check on a different video and I got 11 blinking lights. So I’m not totally sure what to do, Danny. Any ideas by chance please ?
@@seanhunty9304 the condenser fan should turn freely just as the radiator fan should turn freely
@@dannysdiygaragethank u sir for the prompt reply . Yea, the fan turns but it takes a bit of force to
Turn it. Guessing the 30 amp burns out because of that extra force to turn ..
@@seanhunty9304 that’s correct
@@dannysdiygarage thank u!
