Changing the coolant routinely will likely prevent the sensor from going bad. Routine maintenance is critical. Great diagnostic video. Thanks again.

Hi Dan. Great video. I’ve notice my 06 Element engine gets really hot. It doesn’t over heat. Just gets fuming hot. After doing some research I landed here. The fans come on when the a/c is running. I don’t have a voltage meter or a temperature meter but I ran it for 10 minutes and the fans did NOT come on. As mentioned I do not have a VM. Should I just go ahead and replace the Temperature Sensor and is it the same on an 06?

It’s the same for an 06, I would suggest purchasing a voltage meter

My Honda Element heats up with the air off while it is on, there is no problem and I have already installed a new thermostat and the two temperature sensors, which could be.Without the air they activate very late and the tank spits out the coolan
