Stranjah I love you mate, 7:15, he’s saying be yourself creatively. Not to do this Thing then that thing. But saying to u
Yourself, use this concept to make your music great: be unique with the blueprints….

Stranjah YOU THE MAN
Let’s go 🔥🔥🔥
i just started learning production and i want to work in jungle and dnb. so i have no idea what is being said in this video at all but i enjoy the content. ty
yes bro, always watching your vids, big respect for the knowledge... i find my main issue with songs now is my upper sonics sounding tinny, my bass sounds like 2023 and my drums/fills/melodies sound like 2005, I've tried to use reverb with valhalla and I am just not feeling it, any suggestions? I've been looking at thickify and the waves exciter but I feel like there are better options for making a tune sound more full on the high end
Sound selection is key
you’re the goat
Yeah buddy
Hey mate. Any tips for editing breaks using ReCycler? I seem to be having issues with the BPM of the break not lining up to 175 when I import it into Ableton. Not sure what to do! Any advice is appreciated. Cheers and keep up the good work
Hmm I’ll do a video on recycle
When I slice a break to midi and slow it down, each drum hit loops/ warps instead of playing once. Anyone got any idea how to change this so it works like in the video? ! ??
same happens for me ....
try changing the pad setting to gate instead of trigger x
Stranjah do you usually put a clipper on your drums/breaks?
Oh absolutely, I put a clipper, a trimmer, sometimes even a full-blown lawnmower on them. Really gives it that 'just been to the barber' feel, crisp and snazzy. But in all seriousness, yes, adding a clipper can sometimes add a nice punch to your drums.
The beat you used can be heard on Leftfield's - Release the Pressure (Release One), one of the four versions... Nice! ruclips.net/video/cB1XQfJmaMw/видео.html
Ahh classic tune. Would never have thought of that.
If ableton had ping ping looping with warp off you could slow down breaks without artifacts. Come on ableton!!
How are you getting on with Rift? A few weeks ago I had Peter NC17 here for a show and he told me about it, says he uses it extensively. Any specific advantages or features compared to something like Trash2, or the Scream4 inside Reason?
Different beast. Wild results. I did a video dedicated to rift.
Greetings. Question: What do you mean by “play it on MIDI rather than audio”? You mentioned this in a couple of videos and I’m a little confused. Normally I use MIDI channels to connect my hardware synths with MIDI keyboards. In software, MIDI is typically a USB connection of some sort or routing with a audio interface. So, when you move drum slices around and manipulate pitch or time stretch and such, what are you referring to when you mention using MIDI vs audio? Does that question make sense? Thanks.
Watch that part of the video again carefully. He is referring to playing back "slices" of the breaks through a sampler (using MIDI data inputs), rather than directly chopping up the waveforms of a sample.
@@wbnbn9670 Okay, yes. That makes sense. Thanks!
hey shivi ❤️
Hello Stranjah ! Big ups from Mexico , hey ! can you make a vid on DLR kind of breaks or his label kinda sound ? that will be awesome ! Much Love !
Sure thing!
