You always do a good job of explaining stuff. I've been producing for about 10 years, and even when you're showing stuff I already know, I still learn something new. Well done.
What I like best from your videos is that you always end up putting a track together at the end! Will you be doing a follow up to your pad tutorial? Would to see one regarding layers like strings or other pads to create movement.
Stranjah, Love your tuts man- i've learnt so much over the last year or so - big love! I've been producing for a while but really struggle to program shuffle fills I can get them over time when making beats but if frustrates me that i don't know how to make them more pronounced and that im not 100% sure how i made them. Im sure there is a recipe! i'm aware that its not just the snare and that it must be to do with its relationship to other components in the beat do you have any tips and trick you could share? I'm looking to make that classic garage shuffle you know the little shuffley fill that everyone froths on and it make the beat roll- I feel like if i nail that i'll be able to apply the knowledge to different styles. Cheers!
Cool tutorial. I think cutting all tracks (or doing an automated group eq on the break) during the snare roll at end would have made it 'pop' (ie emphasised it).
I tried to remake the hitting hard ball break (which is the think break and the soul pride break combined) and realised that they eq'd the low end from one break and the high end from the other to make a 3rd gen break(used in the classic "hurt you so" track by jonny l) and now I do that to make my own breaks!!! Would love to see you remake that break bro....Big up man like stranjah🔥🔥
I got a loopcloud year subscription (though a lot of my points are already gone and it’s been 5 months lol) and love it. Easily the best service for DnB drums as well as house music

Stranjah, I have no words you are amazing!.... I got a bit confused when you were explaining the 8th notes in the break's.
Bless Up
Re watch it... Use whichever side of the 8th note you're trying to fill.
Dig it ! Wish at home working on sounds than sitting at desk at office job. Appreciate all tips and sparking my creative urges.
Much love, hopefully you get to go home and work on sounds soon!

Loopcloud is genuinely invaluable to me now. Being able to audition loops or one-hits in context with the vst is such a killer feature.
Yes, their app is very intuitive!
Great tutorial ,thanks for sharing your knowledge 🔥👍
Most welcome!
Brilliant as always. To extend this, how would you layer one or two shuffle breaks and an Amen???
Cheers for the vid stranjah. Would love to see more intermediate advanced break layering at some point .
Great content as usual. Big up stranjah!

They kept the kicks and snares from both breaks but heavily eq'd them

Yes they have a great library!
Where can I get the amen break at
The winstons - amen brother
what is the sound at 14:12 called?
it's a simple snare roll, idk the exact name of the sample, but u can make it urself with so 16th notes :)
👍❤️
✌️
I like that second break. Warhead!
That's a version of the Sandman break, its not in Warhead.
@@kevinmckernan2753 Oh, well thanks for correcting me! My DnB is lacking, it just reminded me of Krust - Warhead
@@ASH-ou4cg Warhead break is on the Jungle Warfare series. named 'Steppa' if memory serves me right ;)
wtf? You hodl a BAYC?
sounds 2d and not finese
Sounds whack, the layered breaks just makes it sound like a really busy DJ mix with multiple tracks going at once
