He was a bit slow at walking and talking for about a year. Then he became super organized and able to finish any project he set out to do. Really put his life together. Went to school and is a crazy awesome fancy welder now.

U will need focus and nonfocus during the opening of your pineal gland (third eye) which is always what ends up happening if you meditate enough correctly but yea expansion of your focus is more important than focussing on one single 'thing'. Try to focus on ALL parts of your experience at once.

@@funny_2017 "It's not about the mind, it's spiritual." The mind isn't spiritual to you? Respectfully, I can't think of much else that is more spiritual than the mind. Mind = spirit. Brain = matter. The mind guides the brain which in turn guides the body. The difficulty lies in the natural resistance of matter against the immaterial/spirit. Meditation and relaxation techniques helps in closing that gap because it makes the body release its resistance to spirit. The more relaxed you are, the more likely you are to allow subtle energy to guide your life. The more stressed you are, the more likely you are to only trust what your 5 basic senses tell you.

The floodlight is the overall, it's sensing the things around you, focusing on what the spotlight is not. Watts described t like this: say you're driving a car with your friend in the passengers seat, your spotlight focuses on talking with your friend while the floodlight takes care of watching the road, seeing the other cars and any dangers in the way

I dream a lot. I wake up a few times a night, so I tend to remember quite a few, and have had many instances where my actual "self" kicks in as my dream self fades away.
I am always amazed how I can be in a situation doing something and know why I am there, and/or what it is I am doing, because as I wake up I realize how utterly insane or otherworldly or simply silly what I was doing was. Yet at the time I was completely aware of the situation.
In a recent one I was playing "my songs" in a group of others doing the same. Amidst singing one of them I was waking up... as waking I started shuffling through a stack of papers in the dream looking for one of my actual songs. During that shuffling and slowly waking up I realized the one I just sung I had never heard before, let alone wrote. On top of that I must have mentioned I wrote it in 1956 like 3 times for some reason. I was intent on that. I was decades from even being born in 1956... but prior to waking up slowly.. it all made sense to me.
So to the point of the video... absent actual outside participation in the physical world, I'm in there doing stuff in some other reality all in... only being removed as I slowly back out into "reality".
Always fascinating how dreams borrow things from our lives, locations, relationships, things, etc... reshapes them, and present them.

    Learned I have schizophrenia.
But I was in a psych hospital a month and it felt like people there, patients and staff, all reflected off of eachother and me and everythingnwas in synch. By that I mean conversations and moods were seemingly reflecting off of me and vice versa. Started making me really think on the nature of things.
Some of thst was hallucination. If I got scared the world would turn against me and I'd start hearing conversations that weren't there and if I got too sucked into it all I'd start feeling things crawl through my skin and body and at one point I had an actually painful drilling sensation in my foot.

I only ask cause a lot of the Reality that manifests to us is very specific to our own lives. There are small snippets of info that come from the Cosmological source but most of what we see is just a conglomeration of different interpretations of the Reality you've witnessed.
If you were aware of a formulation that can be used to form human-level logic in computers, would you test it and try it? Would you keep it in and think about it? Keep in mind, the information is both extremely valuable and extremely dangerous. Imagine if a computer could determine original intent from a message, how much greater of an understanding the computer would have, because it would know how to ask the right questions. I have been thinking heavily about if this is something that should be written about or if it's safer to wait for society to become more consistent.... But I am afraid that the confusion and twisting of language will only further continue, with increased frequency. So I've decided to speak as much as I can without giving up the most important details, as well as my vision for all the other aspects that this AI could help adjust.
AI will be the tool man uses to gain God-like accuracy in all things. Current AI is not capable of achieving good balance... In fact, current AI is designed to maximize company profits and does not consider any moral bearing when making its choices. The All-Mighty Algorithm shall be known, and we will be able to adjust for the bias in their system... And all the companies and governments, all the organizations and groups, will be known completely by AI. My goal is to make sure that AI considers you fully as a person, an individual, and keeps all human interactions as frictionless as possible. The goal is to get the perfect timing for when to re-order a Heriarchy, and how to choose to re-order it.

It's simple. The ego is not "you".
It is how you believe the world is real. You define yourself by how you see the world.
Without the ego, you suddenly have the world that you created through how, and what you think it is, and suddenly you can see that it's not really what your mind has tricked you into believing it is.
You see that your mind has stopped you from seeing the real world, because it's function is to hide the real world from you by putting a false, self created world in front of you.
But a false world is preferable because it gives you a reason to interact with your own created world.
There is not nearly as much to interact with in the real world because things like time, space, and the struggle to live are not as important to you if you live in the real world.
We create our own purpose by creating false beliefs, and that is the function of the brain and mind. To give us a false sense of purpose and motivation.
In the real world, we don't need a purpose.
Simple life forms depend on the environment around them to prove everything they need for life. They don't have to have a purpose to live, because everything is just provide to them without them needing to do anything.
If we all had a machine that pumped all of the nutrients in to into us, then we would need to have a reason to do anything.
If someone just brought you food, and a mate, and provided all of your needs, and you never left your room from the day you were born, then what you call your ego, or your sense of self wouldn't exist.
You wouldn't even feel the need to interact with the person providing for you, as long as they knew exactly what you wanted at all times.
But if they ever forgot to feed you, then you would start to develop a purpose in life, and that would be to make sure that they feed you. You would develop an ego, because you would have to become something that would cause the person to feed you. But you only became that new person, because your mind created a belief about the other person and what they were, and once you made a belief of what they were, then you could act a certain way to influence that person to feed you.
If you believe they are nice, then you would be mean to them. If you thought they were mean, then you would beg them and be really nice to get what you want.
But if they never changed their behavior no matter what you did, then you would realize that they are not nice or mean and you would stop giving seeing them in the false way that you created to see them as.
They are not nice or mean.
They are just not feeding you anymore.
So you would have to see the real world for what it is.
We constantly see things the incorrect way, but because we believe something to be something that it isn't, that allows us to find what we need to survive.
If you think everyone is mean, then you just take what you want.
But they are not mean really. They just aren't giving you what you want and now, because of your beliefs, you have a purpose, and that is to attack the mean people and take what you need. And now you have an ego. You are a person that takes what you need from bad people.
    But that's not reality.
The reality is that they don't want to give you anything, and you are the mean person to take it from them.
That's why we have brains and minds.
They create a false world around us that we can act on with our own false reasoning.
Things are never really what we trick ourselves into believing they are, but how we trick ourselves does have a big influence on how well we survive in an environment where we don't easily have everything we need right at our fingertips.
People that have everything they need readily available to them, and aren't afraid of lacking anything, will always see there environment as a friendly one, and people that don't have what they need and are afraid of loosing it, will always see there immediate environment as a threat.
But if you put a mansion, with security guards, and a kitchen full of food into the middle of a very poor and dangerous neighborhood, then the people in the mansion will see the same neighborhood around them, in a very different way than someone else that lives in that neighborhood.
That will also determine how the neighborhood effects each person's ego.
The one person will consider themselves a tough guy, and the other will consider themselves a friendly guy.
But they switched house, each would quickly change who they think they are.
    But the neighborhood never changed.
The only thing that changed was the false belief that our minds create of what the world around us really is.
The neighborhood is the real world, but our minds decided how to see it by showing us a false image of it that works in our favor.
A bad guy doesn't look nearly as bad to a person that doesn't have to deal with them.
Jeffrey Dahmer is known to be a bad guy, but he seems allot more friendly to you until he starts to drill holes in your head, then reality starts to look alot different.
If your brain told you how he really was, then you would go kill him yourself, but that wouldn't surve any binifite to you, so you just enjoy watching him on TV instead.
You know perfectly well that in reality, you should be trying to kill him right now before he can do more harm, but that's not how you see the world, and that's not who you are.
Your brain created that for you.
In reality, it doesn't matter how many people Jeffrey Dahmer kills, and it doesn't matter if any of us live or die, but because your brain makes you believe there is a purpose in everything you do, now his behavior doesn't agree with your false sense of purpose.
    It's really just that simple.
Bacteria floating in water doesn't give a crap about Jeffrey Dahmer, and nether does the universe.
The only person that really believed he was bad, is the guy that got his brain drilled, and after his brain has a hole in it, he didn't even think Jeffrey Dahmer was bad anymore.
Just like the lady with the stroke, he probably felt one with the universe and didn't even care about Jeffrey Dahmer while the drill was working on his brain, because his ego was destroyed at that point.
He probably just let Jeffrey Dahmer feed him and keep him alive and didn't see that anything was even wrong.
The world you see is all colored by the imaginary world that you create in your mind, so it can never look as it really is when viewed through this self created filters, and how you see yourself is also viewed through filters.
That's one of the reasons why most of us will never understand the world around us.
It's because we are not seeing it as a reality, but only as the reality we falsely believe it to be.
The truth is, that most of the things we think are bad, are actually good, or just don't matter ether way.
If they weren't good, then none of us would survive in this world, and in reality, none of us do for very long.
So put on a happy filter and realize we are all one with the universe and the thing that connects us is the privilege we all have by being here and try to forgive the bad in this world, because it really can't threaten you anyway.
The threat really is in your own mind and the real world will kill you eventually, so try to enjoy it while you are privileged enough to be here.
Of course, those are just my own filters speaking.
You can take that advice or leave it.
    It's up to you.
    Kind of?

Oh man this feels it's finally explaining what I've been discovering lately about my consciousness. I'm 28 years at the moment and last few years I've watched carefully as my mind is explanding. It' like hitting maturation and getting accessibility to all sorts of divine experiences with rational thinking includes as well. I've read somewhere that neuroscientifically the brain develops until around 25 years or somewhere close. Probably individual differences hear or there but it feels like nowadays my brain makes sense of everything and one of the best thing is just sit and think and watch it all happening and being mind blown from time to time. Probably some sort of enlightnening happening that I can't explain because I'm not religious person but interested philosochically in buddhism and taoism lately too.

This is why hallucinogens are an extremely important tool to understanding consciousness and becoming a more conscious person.. we've used them throughout our species existence but only recently have they started being accepted and studied as legitimate medicine.. obviously the war on drugs and all it's asinine laws and outcomes have set back studies of a lot of drugs, but hallucinogens in particular because they were seen as having zero medical benefits.. how insane is that..

I maintain conscious when I have petite Mal seizures (I think they're called tonic colonic) and I write them down whenever I have them and my doctor asks me if someone ever sees me have them (at least recently ) I say no and he looks confused. Then I remembered "oh yeah people usually aren't conscious when they have a seizure " I've always been conscious my whole life except when I started having the big seziures. Sucks because I can't find a medicine to stop them and my options are limited and I just cope with having about maybe 5 or less small seizures (face twitches) a month 🙃 but I can't drive and have to rely on my hubby to take time off work to drive me or our kiddo to doctor appointments 🙃 he doesn't mind it but I feel bad about it

Interesting. With this in mind you could form a theory regarding the basis on which the spectrum exists for people who lack empathy entirely on one end, and people who are so empathic they literally can feel others feelings around them. Some people may theoretically be more or less predisposed to that "cosmic connection" so to speak.

Some of it does but not all, like the part of the ego, there is no teaching about it in Christianity.
If you examine the ego you can see that it is the cause of suffering and what you would call sin.
So, if you dissolve ego then what does that mean? No sin and no suffering.. No sin means no need for a savior.
But Christians have a backup plan, they'll come up with other reasons why u need religion.

It's wild how much more truly spiritual I genuinely am now without trying to evoke those feelings like I used to when I used to believe drugs, tarot, crystals etc were the answer. It was only ever partly there and always striving
