    Sub1 really shocked me! For 95% of indoor use or small gigs it is all that most of us would ever need, but if you want to shake the walls and get that chest slam for Rap, Techno, or Electronic Music, the Sub2 is a huge step up. Of course for outside use, Sub1 can't compare to the Sub2. Sub1 bass is tight and musical, Sub2 at 37hZ is for bass heads or drummers like myself:)

      Expert Power 400 www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CYMCLDN/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_10?smid=&psc=1
      Looks like it is out of stock. For a little bit more money I would go with the Ecoflow Pro. 600 watts vs 400. Pure Sine Wave, longer run time. Has App control! The best feature it charges from 0-80% in one hour. In the long run will be worth the extra $$$. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08T1KY8SG/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_4?smid=AH59O987TZWZR&psc=1

    Hi , I've bought the bose l 32 pro I'm not sure which sub to go for, I am a vocalist guitarist I play with acoustic and vocals and also electric guitar and backing tracks,
    I like the portability of the sub 1 but I can't help thinking that for a given volume it will not be able to throw the bass as far as the sub 2 , some people on the web say the sub 1 bottoms out when you go above 12 o'clock.

    • @WWeiss-nv5vz
      @WWeiss-nv5vz  Месяц назад

      If you can handle the weight and the extra $$$ Sub2 is the obvious choice. Two Sub1's=output of single Sub2. Sub2 will still go down lower to 37Hz, which I can hear the difference for kick drum. With a single Sub1 I did get it to bottom out, outside at a little over 100db. 12-1:00 is the sweet spot for integration with Pro32 with either sub.

    Was told by bose you can run the sub1 and sub2 together in cardioid mode. can you try that/ sub2 on the bottom, sub1 on the top

    • @WWeiss-nv5vz

      Sorry, Sub1 is at another property. Should always use the same sub. Two Sub1s would be equal to one Sub2.

    Forgot to mention, to purchase a second Submatch Cable costs $100. Make sure to figure that cost in for those who want to double up subwoofers for the Pro32 system. You have to admit the technology Bose has come up with is impressive and unique to only Bose. The fact that you can run the array that goes up to 128dB and up to two 1,000 watt Sub2s from one power source is wonderful!

      Sadly it looks designed to do it the other way around, meaning you dont get bluetooth capability.
      only option to do what you want would be to use the Jack output on hte S1 Pro into the sub.... but not too sure how that would sound in terms of crossover of bass and so on.. probably not as good..

    • @WWeiss-nv5vz
      @WWeiss-nv5vz  3 года назад +2

      Yes, one cable! Make sure to use TRS 1/4” or you will lose 6dB output from S1 Pro. I prefer 1/4” TRS to XLR male into the sub for the more secure connection. Either way.

      Probably two Pro16s. Most DJs like the look of matching speakers on either side of their booth plus the advantage of running stereo. Other major reason for a pair is to have backup during a paying gig.

    You are not using the best capability of it. Using a sub 1 and 2 is the best scenario. But you need to output the sub 2 to sub 1 using the HPF option because using just sub 2 its lows and highs but when you use a sub 1 with the high pass filter into it the sub 1 will take care of the mids that the sub 2 wont handle and then you will have the best richness system out of the l1 pro 32. Check out my review i did about it.
