The subwoofers were in L1 mode and not traditional Sub mode so the crossover is higher than normal.

My personal opinion :
Sub1 solo .. Ok but not for DJ
Pro16sub is better
Sub2 , Why only one handle vs F1 Subwoofer...
2xSub1 , Good , better than sub2 but less precis
2xPro16 perfect
F1 Sub too low crossover For L1 but easy to transport vs Sub2 ho have only one handle..
Sub1 dont like 20-30hz sound test , Metallic sound, Woofer metal knock
I prefer to transport 2x sub1 vs the Sub2
Sub2 vs pro16 sub , i prefer the Pro16 sub for the weight

Thanks for sharing 👍 I'm very pleased with my two pro16 for dj purposes. I recently sold my two sub2 because I wasn't impressed with them and it wasn't worth the extra carry. This video proves that the two subs from the pro16 are louder than two sub2.
Hi ! actually there are no big differences between the sub2 and the subpro16.
however, the sub2 will play louder if it is not in L1 Mode but it will play up to 100hz therefore not functional with the pro32
the big drawback of the sub2 is the handles vs the height of the sub2 for people like me it is 5.4 feet tall.. it carries really badly compared to my old F1 sub
But Two Sub2 in stack is louder than two pro16 sub but two pro16sub is louder than 1 sub2
@LowVybezEnvoy1 have you tried in stack mode in the center between your two pro16s? in stack it should have a good +4, 6db
I agree with you, I expected more from the Sub2 compared to the specifications mentioned on the Bose website.
Especially since on the Bose website it says that the subPro16 is equivalent to the sub1 but that is completely false..
and it doesn't do well unless you're over 6 feet tall I think.
@DavidB_AudioTech I didn't try the stack mode but I placed them side by side standing up in between the two pro16 didn't help much outdoors. Indoors they sounded good. I'm thinking of going with a pair of rcf 905mk3 for the extra low end now

For Bose , Sub F1 is good but not working well with L1 serie because the crossover is to low , Sub2 is great but only one handle... For people like me who are not very tall, 5.4 - 5.6 feet, it is still difficult to transport because of height..
I prefer to carry 2 Sub1s for a slightly better but less precise result
Question. Have all the Subs been updated to the latest firmware. I've found that updating my Sub2's firmware made a significant difference in output before clipping
Hi! Yes , all firmware update, Especially for the Sub2 which still clipped really quickly out of box
nice comparison, for me the F1 sub seems to sound the deepest, it's sound more like hifi sub, maybe in LPF mode sub 2 sounds deeper ?
Yes because the crossover is lower than Sub1 , sub2 and pro16 sub
@@DavidB_AudioTech because it's designed to work with the F1 top which is an 12" full-range speaker which can handle more upper bass than columns speakers.
@@sonny9546 Sub1 and sub2 have the same switch crossover for standard speaker but my test is only for L1 serie vs the spec of Bose
