    Great video!
    Solution: One QSC or RCF 18 inch sub 3,600 watts/136dB = 2 Sub2's + Sub1

      @llaugercastillo  Год назад +1

      Yea i cheked the QSC and ita more than a hundred pounds thats not an option for me. I found a mackie that is like 70 pounds thats more like it.

      @@llaugercastillo Unfortunately, to get the performance you are looking for you will need 100+ pounds weight. Box/size /internal volume/18" sub is what will give you the high dB's. I looked up the sub you are talking about: Mackie SR18s 74.5 pounds 133dB or Mackie DRM 18s 135dB 90 pounds. Outperform your 3 subs, maybe??? but I doubt it.

      @@WWeiss-nv5vz yes the qsc you mention the difference is like 3dbs not sure if its worth carrying the extra 40 pounds to het 3 dbs more. One of my friends has the mackie sr18 which goes down to 30hz and thats really great will try to test it with it to see if i like it. Will keep posted. Cheers.

    My Amazing Friend ! Thank you for your wonderful video. My kind and humble suggestion would be for you to turn the bottom sub the other direction, facing the back and the top Subwoofer facing the front .I do believe you may have a better sounding bass and surroundsound sound that you’re looking for. This is just my humble suggestion to a fellow musician / DJ.

    when talking about subs, I think the size doesn't matter, it's all about the watts, the deep of its dumping and how low the frequency can do.. I have a 15" 600 watts sub vs my JBL 10" 250 watts sub and and the JBL has more deep dumping and frequency and it rumbles massive than the 15inch plus the 10" kicks on the chest, the 15 has this muddy bass that is why you think it has more bass than the 10"

    Are you testing using Bluetooth? You can get much better results/max dB headroom, gain staging properly with a mixer.

      Bose tonematch or a good external mixer may improve sub 2’s output. The QSCs and mackie subs are way too heavy.

    Check my videos for more Sub2 demonstrations. There are a lot of reviewers on here hooking up their stuff wrong and it's making the equipment clip because they don't know what they're doing. Anyone who has any experience with sound should know that you run your mixer to your subs and then out to your tops. The l1 pro 32 was designed for a performer. It's designed so that the performer can plug into the column and then submatch cable to the subwoofer. However it is not supposed to be hooked up this way for DJ use.
    DJ Setup
    Mixer+Sub+column
    Live Setup
    Mixer+Column+Sub
    Or
    Column+Sub
    Remake this video but run your audio through your sub and out to your column not through you column and out to your sub.

      I have done everything you say and in between and more. Actually putting the mixer into the sub it only makes it work more as the crossover needs to be activated but its all the same as the bose column its made to have the crossover from the column to the subs remember the mixer is integrated so yes it's going from mixer to sub as the mixer is in the tower.
