Glenn Marshall record companies nowadays purposely put out shit with generic monotone beats with no soul... they don't want people with passion and thought... they want everyone to enjoy and follow shit like Flo Rida
I've watched this a million times. This is one of my favorite live performance of any band during that era, and this was seriously one of the best eras for rock.
One of the greatest moments in television history. The night L7 stumbled out of The East Village, took a cab to midtown, & destroyed on Letterman. Nirvana on SNL & L7 on Letterman, 2 watershed moments in Rock History. Letterman- "Gee, I hope they're not falling in with the wrong crowd. heh heh heh."
My country is declaring a lockdown.. and it's not easy for an older lad..to go outside... But I'm fortunate to have this track in my pandemic playlist.. Much love from Philippines ❤️

What a great performance. On live national television, which is always so unforgiving with loud bands' sound. And Letterman. What a patronizing bastard.
Letterman was the one who personally picked the bands to be on, so I wouldn't call him a bastard. He was the only late night host who would ever have them on at the time.
I remember when this aired... yes, I'm that old... and saying, "Why is Letterman's band playing with them?" L7 could have held their own without any noise from Paul Shaffer's band of norms.
BobWa6913 look at them, they're having a fucking blast. Forget the Paul and his guys were silly tv personalities on a goofy late night show. Strip it all down and they were musicians. Musicians like to jam together. I bet Paul Schafer and The World's Most Dangerous Band were stoked to play with L7 and I'd be be willing to bet L7 was having a blast playing with them too. So yeah that's probably why, because who wouldn't want to rock out with some bad ass heavy chics live on t ?
I love them they the most talented and most beautiful female grunge rock band in history:X:X:X:X:X:X:X:X:XI love you,Donita Sparks,i will marry you:X:X:X:X
Paul Schaffer is no laughing matter as a musician himself, but he is one lucky man to have been there to watch and play alongside so many great bands that visited Letterman. My personal favorite Letterman performances mostly come from Foo Fighters and R.E.M., but a few others come to mind that always played well like The Black Keys.
Sweet edgy Suzi; Smart funny Donita; sexy as hell Jennifer, I saw them last night and it wasn’t a blast from the past, it was the REAL THING. They came onstage with their guitars, and one sound guy, and just played. I LOVE THESE LADIES!
Those are the old Longboxes. CDs originally came in boxes that big so that they'd stand out against the vinyl. Fear was since CDs were considerably smaller they'd get overlooked/stolen
Look how happy Paul is at 1:01! So good.
totally!!!! what a catbirds seat he had, shit, he say in w/ EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!
remember when 90s bands knew how to rock? L7 were awesome
Glenn Marshall record companies nowadays purposely put out shit with generic monotone beats with no soul... they don't want people with passion and thought... they want everyone to enjoy and follow shit like Flo Rida
You saw what Nirvana did when the show insisted on a back track?
L7 still are awesome!
They still are!
Early 90s rules
I've watched this a million times. This is one of my favorite live performance of any band during that era, and this was seriously one of the best eras for rock.
1:35 Crazy tone matching, sounds just like the studio version
One of the very best performances EVER of Rock ‘n Roll on television! So raw and so much fun!
Remember when bands performed live and didn't lip sync?? this is so raw and cool !!!
How it should be!
Live an Raw
wow, so you are very young, because it was not to much time ago since artists sing live on TV ¬¬
Still play my L7 CDs...great times

Jennifer's going crazy! Letterman was great for giving alternative bands a shot
I keep watching this and I don't get sick of it.
Return me to the 90's.
I'm in love with the drummer

I remember going from Los Santos to Las Venturas thru the long railroad by listening to this song on Radio X... Damn those memories.
LOS SANTOS GOOD MEMORIES MAN
DEE PLAKAS!! Unmatched. She's a beautiful monster on drums.
I love drugs, cried watching letterman’s last episode on acid ...good times.
Me too, specially during Foo Fighters when they were showing all those old clips
WHICH WAS HIS LAST EPISODE?
My country is declaring a lockdown.. and it's not easy for an older lad..to go outside...
But I'm fortunate to have this track in my pandemic playlist..
Much love from Philippines ❤️

Letterman was the one who personally picked the bands to be on, so I wouldn't call him a bastard. He was the only late night host who would ever have them on at the time.
Funny thing is a couple of them were already in their 30s by this time. "Neglecting their studies" lol
You don’t understand comedy or sarcasm.
I remember when this aired... yes, I'm that old... and saying, "Why is Letterman's band playing with them?" L7 could have held their own without any noise from Paul Shaffer's band of norms.
The house band used to play beside the guest band. Very weird, I don't know why.
BobWa6913 look at them, they're having a fucking blast. Forget the Paul and his guys were silly tv personalities on a goofy late night show. Strip it all down and they were musicians. That house band sprayed muso shit on everything.
I don't think the house band ever had so much fun!
The house band also played with White Zombie. More Human Than Human.
Induct them to the hall of fame already.
Paul having a great time back there. Love it!
The bass player is so cool
Hell yea...Jennifer rawks!!!
Maybe the best Letterman performance ever. And the house band added to it.
Some Debut! Welcome David, and welcome world to L-7, Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Donita sparks is so hot!! I have a major crush on her
Love this song! Still in 2021

I love them they the most talented and most beautiful female grunge rock band in history:X:X:X:X:X:X:X:X:XI love you,Donita Sparks,i will marry you:X:X:X:X
Such edge. Wow.
Women who in a rock band are so attractive, nothing hotter
GTA RADIO X
No. It's my old casette player.
@@alinek2289 no you're just dreaming old man. It's gta San Andreas.
GTA SA Radio X, got out of my car every time the song was about to end to restart it lolz
Before backing tracks they had live bands that would back the actual band up
L7 had some rockin songs..
Ikr. I think that they were so much better than the other grunge bands like nirvana, breeders, pearl jam, stone temple pilots and Hole.
Sparks hair 😍😍😍
A great song that goes good anywhere IMO. "Easy listening"
Love the "Honey Bucket" sign on the bass cabinet. I'm pretty sure I've still got one or two of those signs packed away somewhere.
Omg I wouldn’t have noticed that! Representing the PNW in the weirdest way lol
Where are these bands these days. No auto tune no lip sync just rockin out
Sweet edgy Suzi; Smart funny Donita; sexy as hell Jennifer, I saw them last night and it wasn’t a blast from the past, it was the REAL THING. They came onstage with their guitars, and one sound guy, and just played. I LOVE THESE LADIES!

I'm surprised they let them play so loud. Actually, it was David Letterman, no I'm not.
he best guitar orintated band of all fucking time hands down and fucking thmbs up
Still cool in 2020
These ladies seem to be really having a ball. As they should be of course since it is their birthright to rock this hard.
Those are the old Longboxes. CDs originally came in boxes that big so that they'd stand out against the vinyl. Fear was since CDs were considerably smaller they'd get overlooked/stolen
love it - even better on the WORD
2019 🤘
So energetic.
Saw this when it originally aired. Paul & gang just muddied up the waters.
Bonne journée en ce jour de fête
I think I'm in love....
Grunge forever
that was fun!!!!
Courtney Love always strived to be Donita Sparks. Epic Fail.
Courtney was amazing 1990-1995. After that she sold out to Hollywood.
I think both her and Donita were amazing in their own right.
wow great performance! ..and funny critics afterwards... lol
Dum Dum Girls, Vivian Girls, Mika Miko, Wild Flag, and Frankie Rose off the top of my head.
For live performances, makes the band sound better. That and Paul really likes playing with the bands that come on.
The nineties.
i dig the oil painting
