COVID-19: 54 days in the hospital, 24 days on the ventilator but she survived

On April 6th Rosie Kuzcinski was checked into the hospital after testing positive for COVID-19. After 2 weeks on oxygen, Rosie was intubated
and spent 24 days on a ventilator. She spent 54 days in SIUH Prince’s Bay campus and was discharged on May 29. Watch the touching moment she is reunited with her family. (Video: Alexandra Salmieri)

Praise God she made it! My dad is 77 and was vented yesterday. I can barely function. Had to start taking Xanax and I've called into work twice already. Can you tell did she feel the ventilator or was she comfortable and sedated the whole time? I really need reassurance that my dad is not suffering.
