I always love seeing what’s behind the scenes. Sometimes wild things come in and the store owners hold them in the back for a while. It’s always cool to see the rarer and more fun items! Love the super Mario bros wonder papers at the end. Those look like fun displays. Love the obscure items!
I have worked in a few retro games shops now and love it. My favourite was Predator Games in Garforth. Was a sad day when the owners decided to close the place down.
18:13 thats a 50 euro game - literally paid 60 (600 kr) euro for it at launch over psn store and regret not getting it physical. now the only stores selling it in sweden is charging 50+ the serie has made like 10 games, its a very well known serie with more games coming - in fact the latest came out last month in the west, and next sequel is coming next year and after that another is in development right now.
The Mega SG shown as the first trade-in is worth its weight in gold, as far as I'm concerned. I've had one since 2019, and I believe it to be the absolute best way to play Genesis/Mega Drive games. You can also play Game Gear and other Sega cartridge/card-based games with adapters made by the same company (Analogue). There's also a converter that they sell which will allow you to use the Mega SG on a CRT, if that's your gaming preference.
I am 44..... been gaming since the ZX Spectrum days. Iv'e seen games change and seen gaming evolve.... I don't what is is about the 90's era, but the Mega CD CDi 3DO Jaguar.... They were possibly some of the biggest failures and flops of all consoles... The games were very FMV heavy. But i love them lol..... I really did and still do. Psychic Detective, Night Trap, Dracula, Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective, Sewer Shark, Burn Cycle, 7th Guest, Cobra Command, AVP..... The games are amazing.
great behind the sense vlog im going to see the shop after 1 & half years since summer 2022 & great loads of great games there with few stuff im looking forward to see the shop in person tomorrow great vlog Gem 👍
I always wanted an Analogue Sega NT. The grey/white version though. They did one for snes too but I think they've been discontinued and now working on an N64 console
Hi Gebbs, I can't believe you knew your best old friend Nina 31yrs ago now & it's great to see you reunite with each other, Also it's so nice & amazing of you to go into a retro game store & there's so much more games to look at, I really enjoyed watching this video 😊❤️👍👍🕹🎮🕹
@@TheGebs24 time and time again, John's is a staple of our childhood! A cornerstone to say the least, and Nina is most definitely continuing a huge legacy ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
@TheGebs24 ooo that's a good question it would have to be handheld so I can walk around with it. A pokemon game would be the choice and probably the older games so pokemon red or blue. What's your choice ?
@@TheGebs24 Besides flea markets, there's just one retro game shop with additional arcade game room, place called Game Over. I'm in Finland btw. It's called the Mega SG, made by Analogue (although not anymore, sadly). It's my go-to for playing Genesis games, as well as Game Gear games with an adapter also made by Analogue.
What amazes me is that people actually part with this stuff. I suppose they either totally lose interest or have, especially in today's climate, a financial need to do so. As of now I couldn't conceive of giving up any of my collection !

Sadly not. I’ll be at the Birmingham and Doncaster markets though
