the sly games aren’t obscure at all, he was a major playstation mascot and the first three games are amazing

also there was a CGI movie that was in the works, but has since disappeared but can see a trailer to it on YT. Sly was massive for the PS2 veru shocked you had never heard of it Gebs lol

Having sold my own collection before a rushed house move I'm sure Mark will be having mixed feelings about his sale
I made that mistake during a move. I purged some of my games to make the move easier. Now I'm working to put some of the games back into my collection.
I just got tired of moving my games around so I down size my collection from 5000 + game's down to 50 games per console
I just sold a large majority of a full Mega Drive collection and I have no regrets at all. I kept every game I care about so I'm not missing anything!
Its always good to have the emergency option to do so, can you imagine in 10 years from now when its all digital? hopefully not.
The quality of that collection I bet mark got some crazy gaming pc and a monster ps4 Xbox one collection

Awesome video Gemma, no one else in the UK is making large collection videos like you. I watched this like a movie night with popcorn and snacks and food. Keep up the great work. Great enthusiasm for all the finds in this large haul. Seejayare does hug pickup videos but he is Canadian, very hard to comeby large hauls in the UK and we dont have garage sales seasons like the usa do. So always great to see these rare gems of video at home turf.

Awesome Video Gemma! Really enjoyed that. I've just started to re live my youth, my collection is mostly original DMG Gameboy, Gamegear, Master System, Megadrive and SNES. Thank you for the heads up on The Retro Hub shop too, I shall have to make a visit, not to far away from me at all.

What a incredible haul!! It's great when collectors can give away a collection to someone else that's just as passionate about it all. It's almost like giving up your babies to someone else "please take care of them" haha.
Sly 2 is a 2nd party Sony game by sucker punch studios and wiki says its the best rated game on the PS2. I like Sucker punch studios, great little team they have. Neo Geo pocket, I owned all 39 UK clamshell releases. One of them called Pocket Reversi for UK was not sent out to stores as SNK dropped the system during its production so I got mine from some dodgy Hong Kong seller that knew somebody that worked at the plant where they were made (Japanese version might be more common).. I paid $200 to complete the 39 titles for it back in 2002-3 and I never found it online recently. But you have quite a few of the more playable titles in your new collection. I sold my NGPC collection for $1300 in 2004. One of my regrets. This video has inspired me to go through my spreadsheets and price up my games (rough estimates) and i'm up to 5 figures already. I have nowhere near what you have in terms of volume of titles but I have never bought bulk before and only buy titles which I plan to play. Later in the year I will start my own youtube channel. One thing your video shows is that artwork in the 80's and 90's was in a league of its own. Something I would recommend you get is some kind of neo geo MVS consolized. If you like SNES and Megadrive games buying for MVS is amazing. Mind you, you can emulate the games but its not the same. You also do not seem have any Neo Geo CD systems either which is another awesome system for games that don't load too much data. Your sonic dreamcast game, I had it new with the coin, brings back memories, but again sold it. It was a launch special edition in Japan as you rightly pointed out. Its a nice haul and the guy who sold it definitely looks after his stuff. I wonder if he is married and got orders to sell it lol.
I hope he doesnt live to regret selling all that. I once sold a few rare games from my collection and will never make that mistake again. What a haul!

I quite enjoyed some of those driving games on the Dreamcast like 4 wheel thunder, vanishing point, le mans and msr, ready 2 rumble boxing and powerstone were great fun too.

Amazing video when you talk about your childhood it reminds me of mine I was a 90s kid and had to play the first sonic game to death before I could get a new game and going round peoples house's to play a different game I'd be woshing cars and doing paper rounds to get the money for the games it was tough I have Zappa the Xbox edition good game putting this video on my group and will be playing it loads
The sly cooper games are great. They are not obscure at all. There was a classics HD remake of the Trilogy on PS3 along with a new entry in the series. Also the UK Neo Geo Pocket Colour games are the most collectable as they are the only ones where the whole set came in plastic cases (boxes) as far as I am aware.

This is incredible! I'd definitely be keen to see how you reshuffle the Lady Lounge! I'm hopefully moving into my own house in the next year or so and I need some inspiration for my own dedicated Game Room (although my collection is nowhere near as big as yours xD)

The white cartridge and adaptor you had there as well allow you to play NTSC SNES games on a PAL console. One cartridge plugs in the side, second goes on top :)

Amazing! Congratulations on your new collection! I really recommend you Hotel Dusk: Room 215. It was one of the best games i played in my life. The plot and soundtrack are truly amazing. If you're interested, there is also a sequel called Last Window: The Secret of Cape West for DS!

Those blue cases of the ps2 games look so chic! Silent Hill and Clock Tower games made me so excited ^_^ I was hoping you got a copy of Eternal Darkness Sanity's Requiem to go with your gamecube collection! All of those resident evil copies on GC. I would have been ecstatic!

Beach Spikers on GC is a nice Sega blue sky arcade game. Kororinpa is more Monkey Ball than Kula World and it has great tilt control and physics. Star of the show is that NeoGeo Pocket collection though.......for a second I thought you were going to pull out a copy of Othello which is the Holy Grail of NeoGeo Pocket games. :)
