In comparison when Jordan lost in the 1st round and playoffs he lost against the Celtics with 5 hall of famers and the pistons with 4 hall of famers , the only team he lost to in the 1st round which wasn't an all time great team had 2 all stars which was the Milwaukee bucks . Like 4 7- footers, 6-11 guys, and 6-4 to 6-10 dudes. Their bench was deep as well. Their interior defense was stellar with Marion and Chandler amongst other bigs. And they had their shooters and one of the greatest floor generals ever. They had no problem breezing through the defending champions lakers, and the deep young monsters of OKC.

@Cheddaman 06 he always guarded the best player, Jordan never did just like in the finals in 91 manic dropped a triple double in game 1 and the next game Scottie guarded him from 94 feet and they won the next 4 games, also Jordan said himself he wouldn’t have won without pippen, and back then the game wasn’t high scoring like it is now so you would average more because it’s a faster pace and why would mj retire if he just won, if you the greatest why stop because you can’t have the same team, pippen kept competing and mj comes back to the wizards the man retired because he knew he couldn’t keep up with a generation who can’t jump as high as him, basketball is a team sport, so if pippen barely hit 20 points but why don’t you talk about how Scottie always guarded the best player and always averaged the most assists and rebounds AND when mj first retired they lost two less games without him so explain to me if Lebron left a team you think the team would ONLY lose 2 games the next season, Lebron leaves and team is in last place, Lebron is the ultimate teammate and most unselfish superstar that all HOFers would rather play with, mj couldn’t win a game or a serious until pippen arrived, pippen was there for it all and he himself speaks highly of Lebron

Comparing LBJ and MJ is like comparing apples and oranges. They each have unique strength that can be valuable depending on team composition. LBJ, as Casey says, makes everyone better. So if I was starting a new team where I would be getting a bunch of A, B, C and D players, LBJ would be the natural choice. If I was getting a really good team with a bunch of A and B players, I would choose MJ because (and Casey does not mention this) a superstar cannot turn an A player into a A+ player. If anything, the A player may have to make some sacrifices for the A+ (or A++) superstar. In such case, MJ would be supreme over LBJ because his value is not in making everyone better. Heck, if there was a superteam already with only A players, I may go with Tim Duncan over LBJ and MJ who does not ask any A players to make any sacrifices and sacrifices his own supreme talent to make the team win. So how can you compare them...but compare we must.... What I agree with Casey however, is that when all is said and done, LBJ is the GOAT team player in team sports history.

People say "They need a super team for 36 year old Bron" they dont even play for the same conference if you're assuming that Lakers would make the finals they still need to get past the warriors, clippers and the nuggets. But to go further I didn't bring up Bron because this entire video was talking about Bron facing superteams and his lack of help whereas there was no mention of MJ facing superteams without help. Oh and let's not forget that Bron played in the weakest confrences in modern nba history which was the East before and after th 08 Celtics. Bron has at least two finals appearances where the only reason he made it to the finals is because the eastern conference had no contenders whereas MJ never had that luxury and played in one of the toughest conferences in nba history and faced tough finals competition. So please use context next time like I have and this discussion would go much better for you. Also MJ only played with one other all star in his career, Bron played with 7 I believe, so don't bring up help because it does not help your side at all.

Also u say LeBron makes his teammates better but I don't agree it isn't a coincidence that a lot of his teammates on the 2018 Cavs that everyone makes fun of suddenly played better on different teams. True. MJ's got 6 rings. Lebron's only got 4. But MJ's two "threepeats" were with the same team & coach. Lebron's were with 3 different teams. Lebron's also had double digit Finals appearances now whereas MJ only went the 6 times; he won every time he did, but one can't forget you've gotta win to even get there like Lebron's done sooooo many times-and honestly with some teams definitely worse than what MJ had that it WAS Lebron that powered them to the Finals. MJ was with the Bulls all the way back in 1984 too; he didn't make it to the Finals until 1991! Then those Bulls DOMINATED the NBA, but it still took an extremely talented supporting cast and Phil Jackson's chemistry to get Jordan his rings. The entire roster in overall talent is much greater in this era, anybody on almost any team even the struggling cavs, like collin sexton can be a bucket out of no where, if you tell me he went and scored 30 and like took over a game on some random night no one would be surprised other then like hey collin sexton is good guys. Case for Jordan:
Offense: Wade/Bosh, Irving, AD, they are the help Lebron had winning his championships and I think they are all more dominant than Pippen who was the second best player behind Jordan.
Defense: Jordan didn't just win because his team mates played dominant defense (Tristan Thompson/Dellavedova/Irving, AD and basically the whole Lakers lineup), he won because of his own defense. He led the team defensively and dominated both ends.
Rings: Jordan would have probably won 2-3 more rings had he been available - 2 after the first threepeat, and another had the Bulls head office not dismantled the team.
Opponents: One of Lebrons titles is against a banged up Miami Heat with Jimmy Butler as their #1 player...??? I mean I love Jimmy Butler but he's no Reggie Miller or Malone/Stockton or Stark/Ewing or Charles Barkley. I think once you make those considerations James now has 3 meaningful championships not 4 while Jordan has 6.
And I'll throw in there Jordan's ridiculous statistics as a Wizard at age 38-39 years of age... I mean the guy had multiple 40+ point games and even a 51 point game!!! And I can't help throwing in the Flu game because well that's just the sort of player he was, willing his team to victory with sheer determination not just by being the most skillfully dominant player on court.
I'll give you a like anyway Casey because I love your videos but I can't agree with you on this one!

    • @Matt-cl7ee

JORDAN HAS 6 meaningful championships????!??! PLEASE, his team was always the overwhelming favorite to win, while Lebron won two while being the underdog. Your take is pathetic.
