David Drysdale these puzzle aren’t too bad, they are harder than other puzzles in the game, but not by too much
Well it´s the kind of love it or leave it type of game. Besides you do feel good if you discover the solution by yourself.

Puzzle after puzzle after pointless filler mini bosses. By this point the game is an absolute fucking chore to play just to push the story further. It's much more efficient to just watch the story on RUclips and save yourself from this travesty.
Every time I flush the toilet I think of the puzzle solving theme music!
This is one of the best games I've ever played, but those puzzle lose so many points for it

Same, I’m used to play Portal a lot and that’s something you can’t do in these games
I did it a couple of times too then I realized when I looked through the portal
I didn’t realaize that but I was luck and I jumped through and throw the portal just in time

@@michaeluy114 if you're looking for a good game with good environmental puzzles, try the latest Tomb Raider trilogy. TR, Rise Of The Tomb Raider and Shadow Of The Tomb Raider. Those games are amazing.
i could have sworn i beat this game when i was younger, but playing this again when you don't have enough time this section makes me want to move on to the next game in my backlog

I really do hate this part of the game, really grinds everything down to halt.
I beat this game when it came out, then I recently got the Warmastered Edition when it was on discount, and I forgot about this part completely. I felt so bored and tedious that I had to put the game down for a moment before I went back just to finish this part.
Not repeating it’s own mechanics is something that even the best of puzzles sometimes have to do to avoid making too hard or unfair for the player. It reminds me of Portal 2 in the part where he kills you (yes that’s how it’s actually called) where you need to redirect a beam so you can ride it to cross a gap, you then need to shoot another portal to redirect the beam under you to avoid dying. In theory, if you place the original portal used to redirect the beam from its original end point, the beam would disappear and you would fall to your death, but it turns out that this part was specially made so if you shoot the wrong portal it would teleport the other one to the right position so the beam would be redirected like normal.

I still had some trouble reading how you did it, but once I noticed how the puzzle rose to the top like an elevator I was able to do it myself. But you helpd me realize that lol. I think I just had too much coffee that I hsd trouble reading what you were doing. :)

So far these videos have been VERY helpful
the ghost thing has this neat loop where you hit r2 with the chain hold triangle with the scythe and then when it gets thrown back hit r2 again. holding triangle stuns it so it doesnt turn invulnerable, and you just keep doing the loop until you get the B prompt.

I'm getting to enjoy my first time experiencing darksiders the unfortunate part is just not being smart enough to understands a few of these rooms. Still impressed the developers make something so challenging so unlike games nowadays!
Yeah but puzzle that take too long like this is not necessary for this type of game. I did not play a puzzle game for this.

Instead of jumping out of the 2nd portal at 5:57, I made a portal on the "portal window" thing (by essentially doing what you did with the two pillars) like you did at 6:00 but while still standing on the other side, and the game somehow teleported me out of the 2nd portal without me even entering the 1st portal lol.

Sadly, the plates over the teleport pads not respawning after death was fixed in the Warmasteted Edition

I was stuck at 6:07 for ever cuz I had no health things to use, didn’t even have a whole life stone left, AND couldn’t serpent hole out to get any and there were no chests. I’ve never even finished the game all the way through because I would’ve had to play it all over again 😂😂 one of these days tho

Hey I got a foolproof strat for them phasing wraiths you can play as Scorpion (not really) by using the one two hit from the gauntlets and then using the "GET OVER HERE" abyssal chain. They are in constant stun if done right. When there is more than one rotate youur lock on and you will be safe. Pull one then one two hit switch. Just my strat for not talking DMG. Sorry if its tldr

I found out how to make these agonizing puzzles a lot eazyer to deal with and seem like a walk in the park. Step 1 chew broken glass..step 2 jump on a bicycle that is missing a seat...step 3 put a toothpick under the toenail and then kick the wall...step 4 watch 8 hours of Adam Sandler movies without any alcohol...well maby the 4th step is a bit too painfull.

The final part of a game should always put the players ability and what they learned over the course of the game to the test and never introduce new mechanics (maybe a new enemy type since it's a final area and there could be "elite troops" sort of. This is such bs tho honestly. The former puzzles didnt overstay their welcome and were relativly short. But this? I could not have done it without this video, Thanks for your effort. I wanted to get the platinum for this game since I liked it until this point. But nope, not interested anymore. I'm happy when I get done with this game. No wonder thq went bancrupt.

One of the MANY possible bugs in The Black Throne. If you are on the PC or PS3, reinstall your game data (if on PC back up your game files). After that, reload a earlier save, possibly all the way back to before entering the Black Throne. If you are on the Xbox 360, just try an earlier save.
Unfortunately, if you dont have another save, you are stuck, and have to start over. Sorry! If you have been following the guide, I did say something at the beginning of the Black Throne.
I beat the first and second guardians then realised I had missed Fury's Embrace. After going back to the area where the first guardian is it looks like he's been beat the souls are there, but the beam has gone is this a bug will it affect anything when I go back to Azrael and do the third beam?
Btw a nice cheese to skip the elevator room fight. During the fight just fall in the hole and it will skip the fight and drop the elevators when you respawn

Tfw you think you’ve signed up for a fun action hack and slash and you get an incredibly tedious puzzle game
I like these puzzles, nice to use your brain, what i don't like is the overwhelming frequency of puzzles in end game, out of balance with the whole game and bring an action hack and slash practically to a halt making the end seem slow and boring.
I have only played it on Normal and Apocalytic, so I can't say anything for sure about Easy. Apoc is definitely more of a challenge that Normal, but still isn't very hard.
