Ian’s music and Big Wreck helped me through a 25 year marriage breakup. That’s what music can do when you feel the connection.”Did you feel so loved”.

I know I'm a bit late to this party, but this video is genius! Real time EEG activity while recording the song. Wow!!! what a cool idea. Ian, you never cease to amaze. Like many, i discovered you right after Albatross came out. For some reason, I never grabbed a copy of this solo record, but will definitely amend that. I have all of the Big Wreck stuff, which I really dig. Oh, and you can thank Pete Thorn and The Gear Page.net for spreading you around so people like me can find you!

The chord progression is reminiscent of Lennon’s “Starting Over”.

Do your friends still keep you laughing?
Did they help you build your castle?
Did they give up all of their world?
We were tangled, but now unfurled
Oh yeah, preach it Ian. Haven't we all had 'friends' that only had us around for what we could do for them, or potentially do for them, then are discarded when we can't do anything for them anymore, or ever could.
