I love how Kevin telling Sami that he can’t be in the shirt bc KO Mania is about KO and then Stone Cold being on the shirt this year and KO just telling him “but it’s Stone Cold” is something you could easily see happening on Raw but it’s just these two being themselves in real life
On a serious note, Kevin Owens/Kevin Steen, he's the one that got me into independent wrestling, I wouldn't be fan of indie wrestling if it weren't for this man

@@joemckim1183 He was to he reason I had faith in AEW. If you saw his interviews He's like two different persons. What he said in WWE and what he said in AEW. He contradics himself. He was very cryptic in his latest interviews. And in AEW he had stop talking to the fans after the show. He lied about blots if stuff. For the looks of it he never meant anything he said in AEW. People don't understand why AEW has a following. It's just not because WWE is a different type of show. It's like Punk use to say, he was the voice of the voiceless. WWE stopped listening to fans for at least the last decade. They might make changes now that they have competition, but if that competition didn't exist, they would continue to deliver the same old show. They probably would bring a better show just because like after the fall of TNA they would get all these TNA talents that fans were behind. Like AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode among a few others. Thanks to TNA fans got a better version of McIntyre, like thanks to AEW they got this better version of Cody Rhodes. But Cody Rhodes received a big payday & a big spot at Mania thanks to Tony Khan, AEW show in TNT & his appearances in televised shows like Go Big Show, Rhodes to the Top. Cody was contemplating all this time going to WWE, so that bullshit of not going for the World Title was fake. He always wanted to be on top. And what ever Vince McMahon told him on the meeting not wrestling related was to persuade him on leaving.
He said why he resigned right after it was official. WWE allows him to support his family and to have that ensured and enjoy himself in the ring is what made him resign
@@superlegoman2003 I think you should spell it as re-signed because re-signed and resigned mean 2 completely different things. Just to not cause any confusion in the future. Resigned means you're quitting while re-signed means the opposite.
If Vince wanted him to let go he would have he have fired and released many stars over the years, regardless of how Vince booking may have been, he always see the talent. KO and Sami Zayn are very valuable assets to the company they are not face of the company but are top supportive characters they play a very important role in pushing a storyline and angle in mid-card and upper card. He may have gave them stale booking, but he knows their talent. Most IWC just make things up that if a guy is not world champion or not in mainevent he is not a successful which is totally the opposite. KO and Zayn are future hall of famers.
I hope it’s going as well as it’s been for him 6 months from now. I guarantee the Austin match was an incentive for him resigning in December, now management has to make him happy for the foreseeable future
Owens is arguably the best talker they have right now, they just have to start really letting him off the leash now and taking that to the next level and he can become money.
I really hated how they had Goldberg end his universal championship with two moves. Bill's survivor series match squash worked because it was Bill's first match in almost 13 years, and Brock is a brute like him. But to win a championship later in an even shorter match vs. Kevin, who isn't a jabroni made the fans turn on Bill.
Would have loved to see KO in AEW as his style lends itself well to what they're doing and there are so many amazing fresh feuds that could have come to be. But he's entertaining on any show he's on and I imagine he's going to be a centerpiece in WWE for a long time.
@@1KQ_ You say that like it's a bad thing, but the reality is the mid card actually matters in AEW. And if you think it does in WWE, I'd ask where the hell Finn and Ricochet were at Mania.
@@michaels.8309 delusional, being in the mid card of a smaller company doesn't compare to feuding with former main eventers like he is now. No one in their right mind turns down a Steve Austin match to go to aew, only a casual would think otherwise.

Owens is an indie wrestling legend and his work with Pro Wrestling Guerilla just fantastic. Much of WWE product is crap aimed at children but you have to appreciate Owens, a genuine nice guy, family man, and massively talented. Pity he didn't go to AEW but AEW has too many wrestlers, too much mid card tedium, so he's probably best with Vinnie Mac....for now.....Kevin would also be a brilliant commentator in future...
