The first two seasons were incredibly good. I still watch them over and over again. And I don't think I will ever love a show as much as Person of Interest.
@@Cyrus_II It's upto you. I really liked Root and Shaw. It's unfortunate that Root, Shaw, Carter, John, Reese and Elias weren't part of the same team for a long time. That would be quite a formidable team :) Not to mention Kevin, Lionel and Zoe :)
@@genisug22 root and shaw made the show worse, the fact that they had to shoehorn in two mary sues and ship them made me lose all hope for s4 and 5- s1,2,3 remain the best...
2:43 The look on John's face when he says "not really" still kills me to this day. Finch and him are such a fantastic and interesting depiction of a relationship- for all the things he's done, Harold did indisputably save John's life. Or at the very least, he changed it forever. I can only imagine having someone mean that much to me.
John was contemplating suicide when he was arrested in the subway. Getting his prints checked & then 'abducted' by Harold prompted him to change his appearance. Then Harold gave him a purpose to continue living.
And then they ruined this moment when John said it's Carter who save him from killing himself on the bridge, what make no sense to this scene (and to logic), there John litterly said opposite... i guess, they really wanted to force strange love line in last moment to make stronger drama with Carter's death, like we can't be upset enough with only death. (Yeah I know it was 3 years ago, just always return for some POI and start bothering people))
+Katerina Tsarkova I agree with you. Quite often a show’s writers will screw up a show pushing their own agenda. They did that with The Green Hornet, then Starsky and Hutch. Finch and Reese were the best 2 characters on Person Of Interest in my opinion.
More than that, you can see just how much John has changed. At the beginning, he quite literally did not care if he lived or died and was even trying to kill himself, one way or another. Finch gave him exactly what he promised, "a purpose", and through that you can see how agonized John is now that he might die and no longer be able to fulfill that purpose.
The first time I saw this scene, I was on the edge of my seat. And part of my brain was saying, "Valerie, these are the stars of the show, they're not going to kill them off, you know." But the brilliance is that the actors convince you that the CHARACTERS don't know, and their life-and-death tension has enormous impact.
Just noticed that the timer stopped with 7 seconds left... it's an in-joke reference to James Bond.. 0007..don't remember which films it was, but the timer stopped at 7 seconds on a bomb in that film.
"Pick a winner Harold!" After all this years, it still gives me goosebumps! And also makes me angry, how could they destroy such a good show to a stupid series!
even knowing what's going to happen to these two, I'm STILL at the edge of my seat re-watching this. everything was just done so perfectly: the acting, the background music, the mood, etc. POI will always be a masterpiece.
The first two seasons were some of my favorite TV moments. It was a very interesting distraction. The politics that came in later just ruined it. Their sermons oddly have the opposite effect.
If they sadly end POI... THEY'D BETTER MAKE A SEASON 7 FOR LOST BECAUSE I'M SO LOST AT THE ENDING! Yea, am I an idiot because I don't understand it? Everyone is dead moving onto a new life..? but still, if POI ends, they should get the second best show going on again.
How can anyone be proud to be Republican? They are destroying the country. Unless you are a billionaire reaping the benefits of that immoral tax cut, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Mert Con exactly. Very under rated. Only problem with first two seasons was that Root and Shaw weren’t main characters yet.
@@saikat93ify Actually I'd say Root and Shaw not being main characters is one of the things that made the first 2 seasons much better.

Going from "Mr. Reese" to "I'm not leaving you here, John" just like that. I love their friendship.

I cannot even imagine it....
I love how Reese can't stop looking at Finch and also teases him even! I love the two so much!

"Pick A Winner Harold"
This line is iconic.

Goldfinger.
Yeah :) They sometimes do these kind of things on this show.
+Bill Osborn 3 more ticks and Mr. Goldfinger would have hit the jackpot.
I can't believe I didn't remember that it was Goldfinger...:)
She expected him to die Mr Osborn!
“Pretty sure I’d be dead already if you hadn’t found me” is something I may say to the right person one day…

@@uzairahmed4197 it got cancelled because they decided to keep another show on the network instead.
The fuck is this man on?
Mad respect to snow for going out with a bang.
One of the most intense scenes of Person of Interest
TAKE CARE OF YOUR BOY FINCH! POI FAN FOR LIFE!
I fucking love these two. They're the best.
One of the best scenes ever. It's so amazon to see how much they care for each other
Yes very "amazon". 😆
i sense autocorrect
The Amazon Spiderman

I wonder why the hell they didn't include this theme in the OST.
It's a mixture of Reese and Machine theme :)
one of my favourite scene :
this is my favorite scene of all the episodes. its so well done!!! :)
John had an increadible rationalisation in a difficult situation .. always knw deep down tht he can make it died or alive ....
3:09 John's face
One of the many reasons why Finch is my favorite part of this show.
Most likely my favorite scene on the show, one of the best episodes as well.
Pick a winner Harold. Micdrop.
I just love this show so much. Thanks for posting.
MY FAVOURITE SCENE FOR EVER! I LOVE YOU JOHN :'(
Its true... in the end we are alone..
and no one is coming
Very nice. This is why I love this show, and have never seen this scene before. One of the very best.
Best scene of the SHOW!
give my rinch back :(
Excellent. Thank you for posting!
Finch direct. And John knows when he means business
0:31 what a James bond position 😂
00:07 A throwback to James Bond shutting down a bomb with 007 in the count down?
best scene ever.
Comme la caméra bouge beaucoup on dirait Reese il va péter une colère comme dans Beyblade.
My brother and me after this scene
Him: I want to hold them!
Me: Yeah, me too!
Him: *laughing stops*
Me to myself: shouldn't have said that😅
Heartwarming
I can imagine that right about now, you would start shaking like a leaf in a storm, no?
A magnificent scene.
Still don't get one thing, why John kept that Hardware if he wasn't expecting Harold?? 🤔 😁 "Come oooonnn.."
He didn't trust Carter not to try and get in with her own resources instead of giving it to Finch.
3:20 lifted from goldfinger......well an extra zero...
Wher's the end, where the vest is tossed over onto a waiting escpae vehicle?
Imagine if he fat fingered "trigger" lol
That better be a SSD or IT is going to be pissed off.
Doesn´t look like it, sorry.
Stops at 007 \m/
Amazing scene! WARNER bring POI back!
