Absolutely gorgeous! I love how you give life to the model with the right colour in the right place and a good amount of smear.

That aesthetic is so cool. I love how 90’s 3d technology forced hand drawn takes on details like texture, specularity and normals. Pure artistic interpretation.
Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill 1 and System shock 2 had completely different aesthetics, all awesome.
Nowadays technology converges all graphics to the same direction.

I argue they always wanted realistic graphics, why else there's so many FMVs?

@KudoRedfox I never said they didn't want fidelity and that is why I used the word 'forced'. What an artist envisions isn't always what can be produced, due to many factors, including budget and technical constraints of a media. Eventually, these limitations become part of an aesthetic.

Question: Do you use a mouse or a drawing tablet for texture?

Overall, the process of creating a 3D drawing looks nice - I like it
But 3d May be done much faster :)))
make a sketch in frontal view and upload it to 3D.
then cut it out of the plane.
use the underlay sketch to create volume.
How Jan Hubert does it in his “lazy tutorials” videos

Cool! Can you make a brief tutorial on a basic low poly system shock 2/deus ex style 3d model?
