I have a Derby 50cc 2-stroke that was running smoothly before my vacation. I went away for a week, and now it won't start, unfortunately.
There is compression in the cylinder, and the spark plug is sparking. I disassembled and thoroughly cleaned the carburetor and the air filter. I've done all the basic checks. Do you have any advice on what to look at or do next?
(Note: I injected fuel directly into the cylinder under the spark plug. The engine starts normally for a few seconds and then dies)
@@basharshigry1706 Carburetor needs to be cleaned. You could also hand choke it by removing the air cleaner and cover 3/4th of the opening of the carburetor with your hand while trying to start the engine. This will pull fuel down and help it start.
