I have a Yamaha vino,these 50cc bikes run best with the stock air boxes ,I have the air box de restricted along with a pipe,all I did was up jet to a 80 main and she loves it
Yeah they definitely need the air box once we got one and cut that rear fender piece off I was able to fit it on there and it ran great after some tuning.
