    What an extremely interesting video, who would have thought the difference in the oat milks! We did try the Oatley and found it was not to our taste. I love a coffee with milk any type but found the milk was overtaking the coffee. My husband said he had a bitter aftertaste but I just did not take to it. I have to say that good old semi skimmed is the best, I have tried Cravendale and that was nice too. It was so nice to hear your wife’s comments about these oat milks and another viewpoint to listen to. I wonder if you have tried any of these in the Barista machine and if so how did that taste. Huge big thanks as always for testing these out for us all.

      @A2BProductions  3 года назад

      Yeah I’d agree that they all alter the taste of the coffee to a degree but if you can’t have milk or are trying to drink less of it, then just a case of trying to find the one that works best isn’t it. Good to know you liked Cravendale, will have to try and pick some of that up soon.

    Thanks for the in depth reviews here! I definitely won't try the two poorer ones. I'm becoming lactose intolerant, after a lifetime of milk drinking, so I'm just starting to experiment with alternatives. Yesterday I bought Califia oat barista blend and also the Moma one you show here. I've tried the Califia a few times now and don't like it at all. It's very creamy, but has an odd smell to it, and masks too much of the coffee taste for my liking. I'll try the Moma one now, encouraged by your review! The Moma now has a 'Great taste award' star on it (which is a really good thing to get, as it means it's been tasted by expert chefs and critics who don't get to know who made it, or see any packaging etc). I just want to find the nearest thing to ordinary milk - looks like it may be quite a search!

    • @Coopdegras

      Did you by any chance find a suitable replacement for milk, I'm recently lactose intolerant tried normal almond and oat milk but find they taste starchy in a standard cup of instant coffee especially the sugar free ones.

    Hi! Here again in your channel. What a fab channel! Because of you I bought the amazing Velvetiser and the 5 of us have been using it every day non-stop! Just wanted to share that we've been using Moma Barista for around 6 months now, and even my kids replaced cow's milk because they say that is very similar and less heavy in the body (also don't give them acne lake cow's milk does). So it's an absolute win!! I buy it in Amazon with Subcribe and Save and costs around £7.50 for 6. Great price. All the best, and thanks for your in depth reviews.

      @A2BProductions  3 года назад

      Cheers for that, glad you liked it and that made my wife smile 🙂 I'd say the aeroccino is between warm and hot if that makes any sense. We have a comparison video of the Nespresso milk frothers on the channel but should have heat tested them really. Think that and picking up some other frothers to review would make for good videos in 2021!

    Another intuitive vid mate 😎 I was thinking about this the other day to be honest as I always use Oatly (semi, whole or barista) find them all as good as each other but my point I'm going to mention is: I've also been wondering what Cravendale would be like...have you ever tried Cravendale (full fat)

      Would be a good video to try actually as I struggle to get much froth from the Barista Maker on a few of the recipes with standard semi skimmed milk. With the barista oat milks being designed to froth better though this might work well. Will see if I can give it a go soon. Thanks!

    I've just tried the Rude Health milk for the first time and I'm blown away. It's really nice. Also if you don't want all the froth, just heat up your milk in a simple saucepan and it's not nearly as froth

  • @3litepker
    @3litepker 24 дня назад +1

    Conclusion: The reviewers prefer MOMA and Oatly for their creaminess and ability to complement coffee without overpowering it. They suggest avoiding Alpro and Rude Health due to their less favorable taste and texture.

You’re dead right though. Oatly makes its youtube ads 8 sec, but gets everything in in the first 6 sec, generously gifting me 2 full seconds to hit cancel and skip the second youtube Ad. I went out and bought some Oatly just to support such a generous company. Such a smart thing for them to do. Such just completely tilts any “vs” out there in favor of Oatly no mater how less or more bubbles you get. By the way, add a bit of water to those less bubbly oat drinks and you will likely get more bubbles, but honestly, bubbles have to be secondary to flavor. I mean. 2% milk makes more bubbles than whole milk, but it tastes like you just added water to your coffee. Yes, bubbles are nice and all, but flavor is more important. Not that Oat milk is all that yummy anyways, but still, I think any true “vs” would rate their test cases thusly.
    1. Do they make a 8 sec youtube Ad (thank you Oatly, I truly mean it).
    2. How does it taste?
    3. Some bubbles?
    Oatly clearly wins. Next video. ;)
