Farideh is in the Munchies Test Kitchen to upgrade a classic brunch dish with her favorite crustacean: crab eggs benedict. Farideh gives her tips on how to perfectly poach an egg, plus an easy hollandaise sauce technique that uses a blender. Just don’t forget the Old Bay!

I'm trying to think of what's in Old Bay so I don't have a bottle taking up space. 🤔 Definitely cayenne, paperika and allspice; I think there is white pepper, thyme and celery salt in it, too.

Absolutely have no idea how I missed this episode, I love the Cooking show because of this lady. Anyway, Snow crab also comes from Alaska. The final look was great but not what I was expecting it to look like. This opens my mind to different ways to do "eggs" Benedict. I make a more standard Eggs Benedict but with smoked salmon crumbled on top of the Hollandaise sauce plus a little cracked black pepper. Great way to start a new mourning. Sicily 🍷
Anyone who watches this has now basically visited Maryland: theres old bay on everything and crab bennies are on every brunch menu state-wide

My son has made an indecent proposal to you for some time. Currently working at off square brewery in crown point Indiana. Yes, I realize this sounds Hoosier, but he is a Chicagoland who is stuck out here due to COVID19. I had to rescue him from a crumbling city. His proposal is real. The food and Sicily factor is real.
