This guy is crafty as all hell. He deadass made hollandaise in the woods. That's the maximum level of bougie camping I can get behind.
Maximum level middle-class? Yeah, I suppose upper class would have someone else do it.
I love it. His vids are great. I was just confused by the "bougie" comment. I assume bougie is short for bourgeoisie, which means middle-class.
@@LarsSveen I was just sayin that I appreciate how OCL has found a way to maximize the combination of wilderness and home-style comfort. Specifically, I was impressed that he made hollandaise sauce using camping gear. That is very easy to mess up, but it was light work for him. He used a brush to beat the yolk .. fitting though cause he was dishin up art!

Your videos are the only outdoor cooking ones I like because you really know what you are doing. Everyone else just pours a can in a pot and heats it up. Then there is your beautiful scenery. Amazing!!!!!!

It was a little challenging making hollandaise on a pan with a weird whisk but I got it done!

Pretty amazing camping spot. Most people wouldn’t even go camping in the drizzle . Kinda like Colorado. Anyway ,isn’t it funny that as the video was running your can of IPA was getting bigger lol !!! And sometimes when you make hollandaise sauce very very carefully with the best tools it “breaks.” And then here’s you guys doing it in a skillet........ freaking awesome. In essence it was drizzling rain, drizzling butter and raining beer and wine. My kinda camping trip. Keep up the good content.

Taku, you were not kidding when you said this was the best Eggs Benedict ever. I caught a 5 1/2 inch rock crab diving for lobsters 2 nights ago and just happened to see this video that day. It really inspired me and I made it for my wife last night for dinner! It was beyond the BEST eggs benedict I have ever had and also my first time making homemade hollandaise sauce (which was equally amazing). THANK YOU for the continued inspiration.
I should NEVER be left in charge of shelling the crab...I would eat all the meat and just say "oh they didn't have anything in them" :)
